Chapter 2

Kyle ran to the hospital which was nearby.

"I got a call saying to come here. What is the emergency?"

"Follow me." Said the nurse walking to a very closed out room.

     Once he was there he starred with his mouth dropped and tears down his face.

"Very  sorry-" said the nurse trying to talk and was interrupted by Kyle's question.

"What happened?!"

"We think she must of got slammed on the wall. You are the only one here that she knows." Kyle sobbed and didn't listen to the nurse.

"Alicia, I will be here. For you."

       Alicia opened her eyes.

"Are you okay?"

"Yes, a random man walked in my apartment." Alicia tried to explain but her ribs felt shattered.

"Can I take her to my place tonight?" asked Kyle looking up to the nurse while he was on his knees.

"She has to sleep overnight but you can stay here with her."

"Thank you! I am here for you every bit of the way, Alicia. 1 step at a time…" He smiled. She smiled.

      The next day Alicia was feeling better than ever and Alicia stayed with Kyle in his place until she felt safe enough to go back to her apartment. They cuddled and watched TV of all that Tuesday. They giggled and joked about all the stupid little things in life. Alicia and Kyle clicked to be together. They didn’t ever notice, or it least say anything about them holding hands or cuddling.

"What should we have for dinner?" asked Kyle opening the fridge door.

"I really don't care, anything but fast food. I need to lay off grease." Replied Alicia browsing through the TV guide.

"Fish it is!"

"Yummy, never had fish in a long time." Alicia said smiling with joy trying to keep her mouth shut about how short ago she had fish.

"Well, It seems I don't have fish but we can go to that one place across the super market!"

"Sounds like a plan then."

      The weather had just cleared up and the sun had come out just 2 more hours before it would have to go down.

"It’s very beautiful at the moment." Awed Alicia gazing up at the sky.

"Well, enjoy it while you can. It won't stay like this for long." Responded Kyle giving Alicia a heads up.

"Definitely."

"Alicia, let me get this right. You only lived here for 6 days?!"

"Yes, shocker isn’t it?"

"Well, kind of. I have to go to the bathroom real quick."

"Okay!"

     Screaming came out of the restaurant.
