After a day of traveling we finally stood at the edge of Axeapathia, tall ice pillars covered the snowy ground. In the centre was an ice castle that was taller then anything I've seen before. We all were wrapped up in thick cloaks with hoods.

"Game plan?" I asked my friends.

"We'll have to be honest. Ice nymphs value honesty almost as much as they value women superiority." Amaris informed me.

"Once again, no clue to what you said." "Shanira rolling her eyes.

"Well let's go girls." I said taking a deep breath and leading them towards the castle. It was deadly quiet in the ice kingdom. The only thing to be heard was the horses, our breathing and the crunching sound of walking on snow.

"Um guys, the only way for us to get to the kingdom is for us to cross the frozen lake." Ruby said nervously.

"I'll make it easier for you guys. I'll walk and carry you." Using my magic I carefully picked up my friends and started to walk across slowly. As I neared the shore I saw a guy with a spear walking the edge. When he saw me he rushed to the edge and stabbed the ice causing it to crack.

"Sorry guys!" I exclaimed launching them onto the snow.

"Alena!" Lasria yelled.

"When all fails." Using my magic I boosted myself off the ground and landed on the ground face first.

"GOD DAMNIT!" I yelled getting snow in my mouth. I stood up and spat out the snow hoping that it wasn't yellow.

"Did you actually think that would work?" Lasria demanded.

"Yeah, I didn't count on the guy with a spear. Spears will be the death of me, no offence Ruby."

"None taken."

"Speaking of which where is the spear guy?" I turned around to see a huge crowd of guys with spears running at us.

"There." I said pointing at him except it wasn't a him. None of them where! The girls ran at us, next thing I knew I was dragged into a throne room. Sitting on a throne was a woman about 40ish with black hair and white eyes. She had pale skin and was wearing a blue dress with snowflakes everywhere.

"Tell me who are you and why has Erebus sent you?"

"Erebus? Why would I work with Erebus? I hate him in fact he almost killed me." The woman raised an eyebrow.

"You where not sent by Erebus?" I shook my head.

"Of course not! As for my name I am Alena of Vanem and you are?" I asked cautiously.

"I am Isode queen of the ice nymphs. Now explain to me, if Erebus didn't send you then who did?"

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you." Isode stood up.

"I don't care if it's believable or not, tell me who you sent you!" She demanded.

"I was sent by the gods to free Esllar of the plague that was wrecking the kingdoms." Isode didn't look amused.

"And your friends?"

"I'm suppose to have a warrior from every kingdom."

"So you mean...."

"Yes I am the hero and I have come to collect the last and final warrior needed for my victory of Erebus." I explained.

"Why do I find that hard to believe?"

"I know I didn't believe it either it wasn't until I killed the dragon in Karyin that I realized it."

"You killed Xanath?" I nodded and Queen Isode walked towards me.
