The sound of a loud horn woke me up. I raced around and as instructed instead of wearing my usual uniform we were suppose to have our hair up and wear the usual training uniform as a white, long sleeved shirt thing, white pants and white ankle boots. I met up with everyone inside the main room. Isode was wearing the same as us except she had had her hair in a messy updo type thing.

"Good morning warriors let us begin." We spent 6 hours training and when we stopped for lunch I was exhausted as was everyone else.

"How much longer of this?"

"Until the ice ball in four days." Gwyneira explained as we all moaned.

"Kill me please." Ruby begged.

"Kill me first." Lasria said as she slowly ate.

"My everything hurts." I muttered as I stabbed my salad with a fork. Did I mention that ice nymphs are Vegan?

"Well I'm glad that you guys are actually surviving the training. One girl passed out during the first hour."

"That's not very reassuring Gwyn." Nerissa said resting the side of her head on the table.

"I'm gonna go for a walk, be right back." I stood up and walked through the hallways. I heard a weird melody, I followed it into a room where Kian was singing. (Crazy all my life- Daniel Powter) The song sounded awfully familiar like something I've heard back home. Did he come here from a book as well? Oh no matter, he's a good singer and I don't care, he'll tell me eventually.

"You're a good singer you know." I said walking in.

"Alena I uh well." I laughed at his embarrassment.

"Don't worry I won't ruin your tough guy image." I reassured him.

"You know, you aren't so bad yourself. Singing wise of course." I nodded and smiled.

"How is the training she's putting you through?"

"It's tough, Braxton thinks it's hilarious to see me act like a weakling. When it comes to the training I mean." I nodded and looked up at the chandelier.

"This must be the ball room." I reasoned.

"Yeah. Do you know how long the training is?"

"Four days left then there's this big ball going on. Hey, maybe if we go to the ball together. We can convince Isode to give you an ice warrior?" I asked thoughtfully.

"That sounds like a plan. I'll see you around Alena."

"Hey Kian!" I called out as he walked away.

"Yeah?"

"Good luck." He smiled, nodded.

"You too." I returned to my friends and Nerissa teased me about meeting up with Kian. I just rolled my eyes.

"Now girls due to the ball coming up we're gonna have to go to dress fitting." Gwyneira announced.

"Now? But we're all sweaty and stinky." Ruby commented.

"Yes now." Isode ordered appearing behind her daughter.

"Yes your highness." Shanira grumbled. We were instructed to change. In my guest room I changed from my stinky uniform into a short, white dress. My friends had done the same and we stood in a T-pose as servants tried different patterns and fabrics. The next four days continued in a similar pattern. Training, spending time with Kian, dress fitting and sleeping. Soon it was the night of the ball, I was standing in front of a mirror as I fixed up my hair.
