{Midoriya POV}"It's ok, Izuku. Look."
"Woah..."
"Pretty things won't appear if you keep being sad, okay, Izuku? So you need to stop crying."
"Yeah...thanks, Sato-kun."
"Are you okay, Izuku?"
"Y-Yeah..."
"I made katsudon for you, do you want to eat dinner at my place?"
"Wah, katsudon? Sure!"
"Let's play my new video games after!"
"Yeah! Okay!"
I bit my lip, slumping down onto my floor. I covered my eyes, trying not to cry.
What happened to you...?
My ears were still ringing. I didn't expect the glass to vibrate THAT much. I covered my ears, trying to calm myself down.
"Midoriya."
I looked up. "Sensei!"
He kneeled down, patting my shoulder. "Was he a good friend?"
His expression stayed as monotone as ever, but the change in his voice and comforting patting made me burst into tears.
"I see."
Seeing someone you've cared about for a long time suddenly turn evil and wretched really tore at your guts. It was like watching your pet die; you know they don't come back.
"He did kill people, though, so he'll be in prison for quite a bit. I'm glad he was caught before doing something worse."
After a few minutes, the door slid open, and there appeared Kacchan. He looked down at me before sighing.
"Don't fucking cry, your eyes are gonna turn ugly." He ruffled my hair aggressively before walking down the hallway.
"Let's go," Sensei said. "You have homework to catch up on."
. . .
Back in my room, I sat on my bed.
He didn't do wrong to me. Well, technically, he DID tell the others that he was going to kill me, so I guess he was planning on doing that once I helped him and his "people".
"Oi." I flinched, looking at Kacchan who was standing next to my bed.
"Wha--Kacchan?! When did you get in here?"
"A few YEARS ago."
"S-Sorry..." I moved back from my seat as Kacchan sat on my sheets. "What're you doing here?"
"..."
"..."
"The bastard told me that he comforted you whenever I bothered you," He said, leaning back on his hands.
I pursed my lips, feeling the awkward tension creep upon us. "K-Kinda..."
"'Kinda', my ass," He glared at me, making me avoid eye contact. "He told me he liked you. Or he LIKES you."
My eyes fluttered for a good two seconds before I looked up in confusion. "Sorry?"
"Are you deaf? He told me he LOVES you," He said, rolling his eyes. "As if I was your messenger pigeon or something."
"Er...love, as in...as-as a friend?"
"Do you tell Half-and-Half that you love him?"
"No!"
"Don't yell at me."
"Sorry...So, he meant it...as a boyfriend kind of thing...? B-But Sato-kun had a girlfriend. He shouldn't be liking guys."
"Tch. What, are guys not allowed to date other fucking guys or shit? Don't tell me you're homophobic."
"Wha--Of course not! It's just...It's SATO-kun, so that's unexpected."
"But he told me he kidnapped you because he wanted you to be his." Kacchan continued. "Didn't like that you were around me so often, even when we were younger."
"What do you mean? I was never around you in middle school."
He looked at me before a sly smirk appeared on his face. "Deku, you talked about me a ton when you hung around with him, didn't you? He told me everything you told him."
I blinked for a few seconds before I felt the blood rush to my face. "He...Wha...I...huh?!"
"I heard you told him I'm awesome and cool and handsome and smart." He said. With every word he started to get closer, creeping me out. Oh god, is he going to explode?! "I also heard you rambled on and on about my quirk like the stalker nerd you are."
As soon as he lifted his wrist, I shut my eyes, ready for the blast to come. Might as well take it while I expect it!
"I also heard that you told him that whoever I love in the future will be the luckiest person alive."
I flinched, a warm hand encasing my cheek. The fingertips brushed against my ear before my pulling my face forward onto something soft.
My world stopped. Time stopped. The planets stopped moving. The plants stopped growing. Not even the air molecules in the air were moving.
I opened my shocked eyes as my brain stopped functioning. There, right in front of me, were Kacchan's closed eyelids. For once, his eyebrows weren't diagonally pointing down. They were relaxed. His other hand encased mine, squeezing my palm gently. His right knee was in between my leg, while the other one was next to my right thigh. His nose gently pushed against my warm face. My neck slightly bent up. A river of warmth flowed from my lips to the rest of my body, as if I was kissing the sun. The hand on my face shivered.
So soft...Feels nice...
I felt my eyes close, eventually letting my body relax.
He pulled away but didn't move his face too far from mine. He stared into my eyes as I opened them slowly, processing what happened. He stared into my eyes and I stared right back. It felt like my hearing aids weren't working; like this moment was for just the two of us.
"Hm." But before he could run from embarrassment(though he wouldn't admit it if he did) my hand reached out and grabbed his collar.
"What?"
"A-Again?" I asked, pursing my lips. His face blushed a bright red before leaning onto my face again.
Maybe, like that second kiss, it was my instinct to love him.
