Dark, quiet, and empty, the surroundings were devoid of any signs of life. Suddenly, a faint rumble pierced the silence as a car engine roared to life, accompanied by the distant glow of headlights on the horizon. Simultaneously, a rapid-talking deejay's voice flooded the airwaves.

DEEJAY {V.O}: "In other news, local authorities are baffled by the recent surge of animal attacks plaguing Beacon Hills."

Kate, a twenty-something driver with a captivating aura, swiftly changed the radio station, seeking a different source of entertainment.

Amidst the shadows, an elusive figure moved stealthily, effortlessly leaping from one structure to another, employing its uncanny teleportation abilities to remain unseen. Its vigilant gaze remained fixated on the woman inside the moving automobile, monitoring her every move.

Kate, her fingers tapping the steering wheel in sync with the blaring music, suddenly feels a subtle thump that catches her attention. Reacting swiftly, she slams on the brakes, bringing the car to an abrupt halt in the middle of the road. Her gaze fixated on the rearview mirror, she turns off the radio, leaving behind an eerie silence. The road ahead stretches out, devoid of any signs of life. It seems empty and desolate. Resolute, Kate cranks up the volume on the radio and accelerates, but an underlying sense of unease settles upon her. There's something unsettling in the air, and she knows it all too well.

From the depths of the darkness, two crimson eyes materialize through the rear windshield, fixed on Kate. Despite her rhythmic nodding to the music, those glowing orbs inch closer and closer, as if poised to strike. Yet, before they can make their move, they abruptly vanish, leaving only an eerie void. Trees flicker past her peripheral vision through the passenger window, with dense forests lining the car's right side. It is from within this labyrinth of foliage that the red eyes reappear.

The enigmatic figure steadily closes the gap, remaining hidden from view, even as it trails the vehicle. Kate, feeling a presence watching her, instinctively turns her gaze toward the window, but the eyes seem to vanish simultaneously. Her prolonged stare remains oblivious to the fact that she is rapidly approaching a red traffic light. Finally realizing the imminent danger, she slams on the brakes, coming to a screeching halt, and lets out a startled scream.
