Observing the bite mark on their right upper arm, a black and veiny reminder of the Alpha's attack, Morwen couldn't help but feel a mix of pain and resilience. They lightly scratched the area, knowing that eventually, it would heal, or perhaps leave a lasting scar.
"One day, it'll be one hell of a fight story to tell," they mused to themselves. Moving to their dresser, Morwen retrieved a set of navy green lace pajamas and a matching pair of underwear.

After carefully removing all of their jewelry and placing it back in their jewelry box, Morwen exited the room and made their way to the bathroom across the hallway. They laid their clothing on the counter and quickly grabbed their phone, intending to enjoy a shower accompanied by their favorite playlist.
Opening the music app, they selected their shower playlist and the infectious beat of "Love Game" by Lady Gaga filled the room, setting the mood for their refreshing shower.
As the lukewarm water cascaded over their tired body, Morwen leaned against the shower wall, allowing the rejuvenating sensation to ease their aches. A soft groan escaped their lips as they slid down the wall, finding solace in the soothing flow.
With their ears attuned to the conversation outside the bathroom, they listened to the voices of Scott and Derek. Their words were muffled by the sound of the shower, but Morwen strained to catch snippets of their discussion, curious to know what they were talking about.
Scott winced and spoke hastily. Derek abruptly turned around and glanced at the door. "Wait."
He let out a sigh and spoke anxiously. "I can't do this. I can't be like this and be with Allison. I need you to tell me the truth. Is there a cure?"
Before responding, Derek nodded his head slightly. "For someone who's been bitten? I've heard of two possibilities, but I'm not sure if they're true."
