Chapter Seventeen

I stand in front of my giant body mirror wondering what I should do. I thought about it all night. And still I do not know.

"Mary, my father wants you in his chamber. He needs to know the answer." Francis says walking into the room.

"Okay. I'll be there in a second." I say.

He nods and walks out of the room. I take a deep breath and head towards his chamber.

When I walk in I see Francis, the queen, and the king standing there.

"So Mary, what is your decision?" The queen asks.

"I uh...I'm...Fine. I'll take the thrown. I'll become a powerful leader." I say.

"Thats great. Good decision." The king says.

"So what exactly do I have to do to get it?" I ask.

"It won't be easy. There's going to be bloodshed. First thing we have to do is get a carriage to go to England." He says.

"If we all go, then who will rule here?" I ask.

"I will. I will stay while you, Francis, and the queen Addie (I forget what I made the queens name as so I'm just changing it and making it Addie.) Will go. You guys go pack. I will get your carriage ready." The king says.

"Okay." I say. We all leave then to go pack.

*After we arrive in England*

We step out of the carriage and already a bunch of people are staring at us. I wanted to look nice so I put on a long white dress with some gold beads at the bottom.

Francis looks over at me and grabs my hand. "It'll be alright. My mother will take care of it all." He says.

I give him a small smile as we walk into the giant castle. I stare in awe at the amazing inside. Everything is so beautiful.

"Wow." I say.

"Yes, wow." I woman says as she walks towards us. She definitely looks royal.

"Hello. You are?" Queen Addie asks.

"I'm one of the queens relatives. My names Lillian. I hear Mary was also a relative." She says.

"Yes. She is. So, you want the thrown?" Addie asks.

"Well who doesn't?" She laughs.

We stare at her in awkward silence. She then leans in close to us.

"I'm going to be the one to get that thrown. No matter what. I'll kill you all if I have to!" She spits. She smiles at us and walks away.

"She seems nice." Francis jokes.

I servant then comes and bows before saying "I'll show you to your rooms."

After Francis and I go in our room, we unpack and I sit on the bed.

"Maybe its not worth it. We could lose our lives just being here." I say.

"Mary, it is worth it! And don't worry. Addie has people here working for her. They'll keep us safe." He says.

"Since when did Addie care about my safety?" I argue.

"She cares about mine. And as long as your with me nothing will happen. Plus, your the only one of us who can actually get the thrown. If you get it, that makes Addie powerful for being your mother in law. And she loves her power." He says.

"Yeah, I guess so." I say.

I servant comes in and says "A royal celebration will be going on tonight to celebrate your arrival. Everyone wants you there."

"Okay. We will be there." I say. She smiles and walks out.

Great. Just what I need. A crowded party in my honor.
