Red Room Affairs Part 2

------------------ 5 Years Later----------------

Y/N's POV

Today's another grueling day of adding to my already dripping ledger. After the shutting of the door I surrendered without a fight, as I was extremely outnumbered. My punishment you ask? I took quite the beating, then I was given to the KGB the following day to take Natalia's spot. I went through the graduation ceremony, and it's not like my dreams were completely crushed, but more so it's that my choice was once again taken from me.

On the plus, Nat kept her promise, she came back to end the red room. Heard it through the grapevine, and it brought me as much closure as it could. I wonder if she looked for me, I hope she's moved on from my betrayal.

"Y/L/N! Here's your next mission. You have 24 hours from arrival to complete it."

Oh yay... Another enemy of my enemy to assassinate.

Nat's POV

Fury's got me going after this mystery girl who has been assassinating SHIELD agents left and right. She's impressive, I'll give her that. We set up a party of sorts and planted an agent we believe would be on her radar to take down next. Well time to get ready to blend in.

Y/N's POV

Of all the assassinations I've done this is by far the fanciest. I'm after an "Agent Coulson," he looks like a good guy, but it's not my job to care about the target. Doesn't mean I don't! I spot him instantly, however if I am at a party I will be having some fun. Just a drink or two, and maybe a dance with a pretty girl. I got 24 hours to complete the mission before they send someone after me. I'm a damn good assassin, but I'm also a flight risk. I'm known for trying to run, all I've wanted was to get out and be free. To start a new life, one where I can clear out my ledger, and find love... I doubt if I found her she'd want me though. Nor do I think she'd even be single. That kiss we shared was from me to her, she might've just let it happen out of shock, or pity. FOCUS! We're here to let loose, not reminisce on the loss of the only person we've ever loved. As I approach the counter I am stunned, it's HER. SHIT it's a setup... As I'm about to leave we lock eyes... Double SHIT

Nat's POV

We lock eye, and immediately I know it's her, but more so than it being my target, IT IS HER ... SHIT!

"I got eyes on her, nobody touches her but me. Are we clear?" I whisper shout as I see her going to leave

"Agent Romanoff? We have a clear shot, why can't Agent Belova take the shot?" Fury commands

"Yelena, DON'T!" I growl into the comms while I try to find Y/N in the crowd

Yelena's POV

As I'm aiming at the target I recognize who it is immediately. While Fury and Nat go back and forth through the comms I leave my post and take off after her. There's no way she's leaving this compound.

Y/N's POV

I can feel all eyes on me as I'm lost in the crowd of people. Agent are probably blended in around me. I am just trying to get out, I've waited for this reunion for over five years, but this isn't going to be a good one if it happens now. I lost Nat, but that doesn't mean she's lost me.

HA! a door, time to escape.

OOF!

"HA!" I hear the mischievous blonde say as she crashed us to the ground. I could easily fight back, but at this point why would I? I either go with them for questioning, or go back to the KGB with a failed mission.
