"Bab—Y/N, it's just not working for me anymore. We have to break up, I-I just need to be on my own... I love you, but I'm suffocating..." These words continue to haunt you, they have done so ever since Scarlett uttered them about a week ago.

You'd had no say in the breakup either, you just had to accept it—Scarlett apparently no longer wanted you.

All you've wanted to do is sit on your couch, while eating your tubs of ice cream, and cuddling with your kitty baby. Sadly you've had no real time to actually grieve the loss of the five year long relationship. Alas, you're kind of still on set with her, being forced to see her friendly smile as she walks by you as if she hadn't torn your heart out just days prior. You're wrapping up your final Marvel movie together, where—spoiler alert, your character dies, something about a betrayal of a former lover. If Scarlett was a fan of method acting, well you'd think that she's possibly taken it a bit far.

"Y/N! You're needed in hair and makeup."

Well, today's the last day you'll actually have to see her, so it's actually quite bittersweet...

Scarlett's currently sat in her chair, having her wig perfected when you come traipsing in. Your smiling face is like an open book to her, she sees through it and can see just how badly you're hurting. Shockingly to her, all she wants to do is hold you until you felt better, but she can't do that anymore. She meant it—she loves you, so much so that it was all but suffocating her. It wasn't your fault at all, but you just weren't helping matters by existing.

"Y/N, got any plans for when we wrap up?" Susie, your makeup artist asks you.

"Got a hot date." You laugh out and Scarlett's head swiftly shifts your way, and she receives a multitude of glares from those who were working on her.

"Ooh, with who??"

"Now, now... Wouldn't you like to know... Sorry darling, but that information is confidential." You tease in a flirty manner, fully knowing of Susie's little crush on you; while also not really having it in you to admit that your hot date is actually your cat and a tub of Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie ice cream.

Scarlett's jaw clenches at the sound of you flirting with someone else, especially when she's had to watch Susie's wandering eyes this whole time on set. Then there's the fact that you're talking about having a date, she wonders if it's with your guy's neighbor—that nosy bitch has wanted you since the dawn of time.

Five years together, and you're somehow moving on in a weeks time?

She wants to be mad, and she honestly is furious, but she's got nobody to blame but herself. Quickly realizing now that the damage is done, feeling stupid for making you think she doesn't want you. That couldn't be furthest from the truth, she just didn't like the feeling of being lost in you. Desperately wishing that she would've just asked for a break... For some reason finality never crossed her mind when she said those words last week, under the surface you'd always be her Y/N, and the idea of you moving on most certainly didn't either.

"Y/N, Scarlett you're on in 10!"

You knew she was in here with you, her stare was practically burning a hole into your skull. The thought of her being jealous crossed your mind for a millisecond—her jealousy did tend to get pretty bad, it honestly excited you, but you quickly forgo the thought as you remembered that she was the one to end things.

As Susie finished up the last of your disheveled make up look, you spared a glance Scar's way, and sent the first sweet smile all week, she returned your gesture with a tight lipped smile of her own.

"Scarlett, Y/N we'd like you to pick it up from the end of the outside fight, and start with the dialogue. Please feel free to improvise if it feels right, then near the end we'll work in 'Sara's death." The director barks out directions, while instructing Scarlett to stand off to the side of the stage.
