Forever, Always, and All my Days After That...

Natasha had lived over a quarter of her life without experiencing love in all its intended glory, so she had never anticipated finding it. Closest to love she had ever gotten in her youth was with her baby sister Yelena back in Ohio. Painfully short lived glimpse into the life she'd always been meant to live, but never had the luxury of doing so because a poor excuse for a man—Dreykov—was far too drunk on the idea of gaining power at the expense of young girls innocence.

When she had first met you during her deflection to Shield she had no clue just how important you'd be to her. She'd been quiet, and attempted to keep to herself, but you were anything but and that was always a point of interest for her. "Love is for children," is a mantra that had been drilled into her psyche; with her "mama's" words at the forefront of her mind she never allowed herself to believe it.

Even so—her heart—though kept, was a fortress that required patience to break through to, and fortunately that was something you had loads of. So, within a matter of a year you were somehow able to unravel everything she'd ever learned about love, throwing her full force into an unwavering crush. Clint saw right through Nat's attempts to deflect her feelings, and was fortunately able to push her into asking you out, and the rest is a well made history of authentic love.

Today though is rather "loveless", as the assassin is lounging—moping—around on your shared floor of the compound while you're off on an "important" mission with Agent Hill. Fury had dismissed her from his office the moment she tried to fight him over it, having only just gotten you back from a previous mission, but all she got from it was a lost hour with you before you were being sent off again on a jet this morning.

After she'd finished her training for the day she laid down to relax—"wither away"—on the couch with a collection of your favorite snacks and her comfort movie queued up on the screen. With a loud sigh she pressed play on Moonraker, mindlessly mirroring the dialogue while her thoughts were truly anywhere else but here.

It's well known that most people tend to absorb love through a couple of the defined languages. For the assassin who'd been so cruelly deprived of such devotions throughout her life though, you'd found out along the way that she thrived off every last one of them in total equivalence.

Words of Affirmation

Whatever phrase of endearment it was you used for her throughout the day—it didn't really matter. To put it simply, you always had a way with words, never failing to bring a crimson tint to her cheeks, and for a flutter from deep within to make itself prominent within her chest.

Stood in the doorway of your shared room you silently observed Natasha holding up two swimsuits while stood before a mirror in her lingerie. Throwing the bikini onto the bed, with a sad look you only caught through the mirror, led you to making your appearance known. Pushing off the doorway you were quick to stand behind her, wrapping your arms around her before speaking to her.

"You're beautiful just the way you are lovey, wear the bikini if that's what you want, then come meet us in the pool. Remember, every last piece of you is worthy of love—you've definitely got all of mine."

You spun her around by her hips, then held her firmly in place before passionately kissing her, tenderly tracing your thumb over her most prominent scar that hovers over her panty line that you know is the cause of all this insecurity.

"Hurry out my darling." You muse with a final peck to her lips, and a cheeky smile on your face as you walk out leaving her stuck in place.

Natasha remembers your first time together like it was just yesterday, it started as a rushed sequence of events fueled by lust filled movements up until she screamed stop at the top of her lungs. Terrified of having gone too far you jumped back, staring down at her with fear in your eyes, and she just began to sob.
