Mortified, the three looked at the once loving corpse that was hanging from one of the beams on the ceiling of the church. Her fair skin was now cut open, tainted in blood, and she was stripped of all of her clothing. Her breasts, were nothing but lumps of fats and tissue spread out on the ground. Her once baby blue eyes, now a pink soup in the sockets of her face. Fingers, all cut off but only a few still hanging onto the remaining knuckles with skin, her feet, purple and now bloated from the ropes tied tightly around her ankles. Blood still dripped from the hole in her scalp, draining of what was left in the body.
Jackie turned away and gagged, falling to the floor choking on her vomit that was flowing out of her mouth. Kaitlin and Timothy just stood there, astonished.
"Bree." Kaitlin let out a cry, her hand covering her mouth and falling to her knees, slowing moving down to her lap and letting the hot tears go, letting them run down her cheeks as she cried and wailed her once living, breathing friend's name.
"BREE! BREE, BREE BREE, BREE HE HE HE... HE... HE HE...."
Timothy looked to the side, his hand arched against his mouth, greenish-blue eyes starring at the floor.
"Let's go." He said in a low, angry tone. He picked Kaitlin up by the arm with his boney hand, almost dragging her out . Jackie wavered for a second, and soon followed. Tim jumped in the car, turned on the engine and drove back to his house.
Silence, they all sat in silence.
"She got her." Kaitlin managed to say, her eyes welling up again.
Jackie was quiet, tasting the foul mix of her foods and stomach acid that was stained against her tongue.
"We need to call Jade," Jackie commanded abruptly, and Tim jut shook his head. "She's disappeared, remember? There's no way we could find her, I mean, no one knows where she is... No one knows if she's dead or not. Same with Megan and Caleb, Dylan and Kevin."
"Don't say that they're probably dead." Kaitlin shoots at Timothy blankly, her eyes piercing at him in the most scolding way.
"Wherever they are," he continued, "we cannot get ahold of them."
"Dammit." Jackie sighs under her breath, pulling her long black hair into a pony tail. The three both reeked of rotting body, so they all decided to take a shower and wash their clothes.
Tim was the first one in, first one out. He leaned against the kitchen counter, his head in his hands.
He then remembered;
Martha.
