The majority of my friends are dead now.
I don't know how to forgive Jade, I knew we just joked around as kids killing people but she... She actually put it into action. I will say, she does has some big ass balls, hah. It was twelve thirty at night, and I awoke to cries in cabin three. I got up in my slightly dirt tainted tank, boxers, and slid on flip flops. I hated them, but it was just too hot to wear shoes here.
I walk up to the door window and peek in, I see Jade on the ground pointing and crying hysterically at the bathroom, the door was creaking open and she was screaming gibberish, but I could make out half of what she is saying;
"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT?!"
And,
"NO, YOU CAN'T HAVE THEM, NO DEAR GOD PLEASE NO..."
Who is them? Us? Megan, Caleb, Karly, Gaby... The others? Or is it the dead bodies in the lake that I used to speak to as a friend? I barge in the door and she snaps her head around, kicking her heels and backing up against a wall. "Doppelgänger?!" She said hoarsely, wide brown eyes like a wild deer's slicing into my own blue ones. "No, no, it's me, Satan." Fuck fuck I shouldn't have said that, she may freak out even more. "What the hell..?" She whispers, furrowing an eyebrow. "Timothy?" She says slowly, inching closer. "Yeah, it's me. Not... Whatever that thing was..." I say slowly, my eyes slowly moving up at the bathroom door that swayed steadily back and fourth.
I hold my hand out and she takes it, her fingers are bloody from clawing at the wooden floor, and from biting them. I sigh, and pinch her wrist. "Ow," She grumbles lowly, snatching her wrist away from my grasp. I shrug it off, "Would you like to stay in Megan's & Gaby's Cabin?" I ask.
She looks at me for a moment, and shakes her head vigorously. "No, no. I'll stay here." "But you just-"
"You obviously don't know what we are dealing with and I'd rather not tell you just yet. Please go back to your cabin." She points at the door, looking at me like a scolding parent with her chin high. I would insist, but knowing what she is capable of, I walk out back to my cabin I used to share with Kaitlin and Jackie. Alone, but it's nice to think to myself for once. I wonder what the hell happened back there, and honestly, I want no part of it. I'd rather just leave Jade and haul ass, she's already crazy... She killed her own friends.Gaby's POV.
I wake up in the middle of the night, my eyes looking up at the dark oak ceiling as I listened into the conversation in the other cabin beside me. It sounded like Jade screaming, but I rather not go check on her, knowing that she may be unstable... it's dark, and something I have no idea what is going on currently and it is very dangerous (apparently). I don't know what I am up against, but I would like to know before I poke it. I lay there and hear a deep voice trying to reason with the raspy strong one, damn, Jade sounded rough. Like a chain smoker asking for extra cash outside of the bar to buy a shitty meal. It seems like that the deep voiced one lost the argument, but after that I hear sobbing. Messed up, that's all I can think of this. Unorganized, and just pure fear hidden behind a curtain, like a new species at the circus. I rub my eyes with the pads of my fingers and look down at Megan, so was sleeping roughly. I guess she was having a bad dream...
{ im at 647 words so I'll continue Gab's POV in a different chapter. }
