Jade shoved him aside, and got back into the driver's seat. She pulled out her phone, and she had a text message.
'Your loved ones are dead.'
Jade scoffed, flipping her phone over and turning it off. Caleb got in the back seat, where the jump seats were, and laid down, slightly crowded. He was a tall boy, and this was a small space. Jade drove slowly out of the field, until she saw a dirt road. They continued on with their journey.Maybe it was just Maddie, but she was fed up with this bullshit. She wanted no part of this, so while they were stopped, she got out of the car and went to the window of another car. "Hey, can you give me a ride to Michigan? Doesn't matter what city." They nodded, and Martha sighed, she let her go. They pulled out and Gaby sat in the back alone with Vinny. Vinny was scared, he was quiet this whole time, unlike Gaby who demanded answers with tears streaming down her face, she was being driven around in a car with madmen. Maddie was out, but little do they know that she's very important to this whole problem. Ellie, poor Ellie, she's just the one who's driving everyone to the destination. She barely knows anything, but really, who does know? Other than Jade and Martha, well, Martha doesn't even know the whole story herself.
Timothy is now in Arizona, his group in the backseat; chatting every now and then. There wasn't as much pressure in this group, it was pretty laid back. They would joke, because they have been safe ever since 'Diablo' chased them. They pulled into a hotel, the first hotel they've stayed at for the past two days. It was shitty, but it was fine. Just fine. Timothy gets out, locks the car, and the girls get out and trail behind him, looking around the motel. They booked a two rooms. Jackie walked in and fell on the bed, sighing loudly. "I can't believe this, any of it really."
"Me neither," Kaitlen responded, sitting down in a chair elegantly.
"It's like we're dealing with something, dark. Darker than just any demon, like when I accidentally casted that demon in Jade's house when we were twelve."
Timothy and Kaitlin starred at Jackie.
"What? She got rid of it. She's a witch."
Timothy chuckled at that, yes, she was a witch. She claimed herself as one, jokingly of course, but she did have a passion for crystals, spells, and the afterlife. They all sat in a peaceful silence. "Welllllll there's a breakfast bar so I'm going to go eat until I explode." Timothy makes a motion with his thumb, jabbing it behind him. He walks out and the girls look at each other; he was right, they haven't had anything to eat in a long time. So they went to go and get something to eat.
