Error

'Tell me!' Some voice yelled in the darkness and I turned around to find the source, but everywhere you looked there was just nothing there. 'Tell me, why don't you...' The voice faded before the sentence could finish. Instead another voice echoes in the darkness. 'Do you know what happened after you left me?' I again turned in the darkness trying to find the person belonging to that voice.

'Boba?' I whispered breathlessly but it seemed like I could only choke out the words. 'Don't you know what they have done to me?' He yelled suddenly and again all I could do was spin around myself trying to help him. 'My father...' The voice faded but I hold onto it and started running in some direction. 'No, Boba!' I yelled out and ran as fast as I could but I was stuck in endless darkness and there was nothing I could do. 'You shine light wherever you go but you never gave me a chance!' He suddenly said and this time I shook my head. "No! You chose that path. I asked you to take my hand. I asked you to step into the light with me!" I yelled but all I received was darkness before something grabbed my ankle and I looked down and saw a bloody hand clutching me.

I screamed as I saw the body of Cub, who had a death rattle and blood spilled out of multiple wounds. "Cub?" I immediately pressed my hands on the wounds trying my best to stop the bleeding but the more I put pressure on it the more blood seeped through my fingers. "You abandoned me as much as you abandoned them." Suddenly Boba knelt besides Cub body and I looked at him tears running down my cheeks as I tried to focus on him.

"I didn't abandon anybody. I came back!" I press out and pull Cub towards me brushing over his hair in an attempt to soothe him and try to ease the pain. His whole face was in agony as he groveled. "No, you can't help him. As much as you are unable to help yourself." I pressed his tiny body against mine when suddenly Boba stood up and walked away. "Where are you going?" I yelled after him but he didn't listen and soon he vanished in the darkness.

My eyes snapped open and before me stood my squad and Naz as well as the rest of the 501st and 104th. "What's wrong?" I asked a little groggily as I tried to come back into the here and now. "You sure you are okay, Leal?" Link asks and I nod numbly. I clenched my hands into fists and blinked rapidly before I forced a smile on my face. "You don't look okay!" Edge grumbles and I turn my face to look at him. His face was still a little bruised but it was mostly healed leaving him with just faint yellow shadows on his jaw and eye.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just tired." I knew they saw my gritted teeth as I pressed my lips together. I got a few disapproving looks. "Leal..." Catcher said slowly but I shook my head. I didn't wanna hear it. "I will be fine!" I said more adamant and nodded towards the rest. "Go! You earned the glory. Go ahead!" I pushed them towards Cody, Rex and Woffle, who stood a little far off. "Say a word and we stay!" Crash suddenly exclaimed and I sighed. They turned towards me again and I saw the pleading looks in their eyes. "We stay by your side." Impulse said softly and I could feel my eyes get teary as I felt the burning and the pain rising in my chest, choking me.

"We stay, if you ask us to." I saw towards Edge who pleaded with his eyes to tell them to stay. "We don't leave one of us behind." Crash agrees and everyones attention that wasn't already on us turned to our small debate. "I'm fine, guys." I heard myself say but it felt like I was miles away. My body felt numb as Link laid a hand on my shoulder, I didn't even felt it. They said something but I couldn't hear it and just looked towards them. What was wrong with me?

I looked around but couldn't focus on anything really as my vision blurred. "Leal?" Someone yelled and I snapped out of my paralysis. "Like I said, I'm fine." I immediately said without giving them time to protest.
