The living room was silent. Alex's body tensed up as I held her in my arms. Her mouth opened but no words came out. She then sat up, pulling away from my embrace. Her hand pulled through her hair. "My d-dad, he left us. My mom, Carter and I. He left us with nothing." She paused and tried to keep herself from gushing out tears. "He always told my mom that he, he loved her everyday and promised Carter and I that he'd always love us no matter w-what happened. One day he came home from a business trip, drunk. He went to great m-my mom like he always did but instead he..." She trailed off and tears rolled out over her cheeks. The sound of her crying filled the empty room. I quickly sat up putting my arms around her and pulled her body into mine, trying to comfort her as much as I could.

Her hands quickly covered her face. "H-he hit my mom and started to curse and say awful things to her. Carter tried to stop him but he couldn't. Then our dad punched his own son in the face. Carter then locked me in his bedroom and turned on his TV as loud as he could to keep me from hearing everything. Once my dad was done with his rampage I went to see my mom lying on the kitchen floor crying her eyes out. It bothered me so much, seeing her cry. Someone who I thought was so strong, beat down like that."

She stopped and she tried to stop crying but she just couldn't. I was absolutely baffled by what happened between her and her dad. Such a beautiful girl, haunted by a horrible past. I felt so bad for Alex and I couldn't stand to see her like that. Maybe that was why Carter was so hung up on me, the fear of someone hurting his sister.

I carefully removed myself from Alex's body and went into my room to grab some blankets and pillows off my bed. Once I got back into the living room I placed all the blankets on the floor, in front of the couch Alex laid on. After putting down the pillows I walked over to Alex and picked her up off the couch and placed her down onto the small blanket fort I just made. I then turned on the TV and searched for a movie. I pulled one out and then looked back at her, surrounded by pillows.

"Is Up ok?" I asked.

She nodded her head, slightly smiling and wiped the rest of her tears away from her red cheeks. I placed the movie in the DVD player and sat back in the blankets with her. I wrapped my arms around her tiny body and pulled her into mine. Right when the movie started it thundered out and she jumped. I laughed at her and it made her smile. I placed a few kisses on her cheek and down her neck before she pushed me away, like usual.

We just stayed there like that for the whole night, laughing at the movie, and smiling back and forth at each other. It was overall just perfect. I couldn't keep my mind off the girl who laid in my arms, she was so beautiful. The way her long, dark brown hair cascaded down my arm and her blue eyes sparkled all contrasting together with her lightly tanned skin. Everything about her was perfect. Alex was such a strong person. When I first seen her at the party I just wanted one thing from her, sex. But there's something different about her that I can't quite point out yet. She's different. Alex is the kind of girl I'd bring home to my family, not my bedroom. We were actually starting a relationship.

After the movie ended, Alex was curled up against me. Her chest slowly rising and falling. Long eyelashes spread across her cheeks. Our legs tangled together, my arm wrapped around her waist. The room was dark, except from the light of the credits rolling on the TV screen. Thunder cracked in the sky causing Alex to jump. Her eyes opened up wide, staring right into mine.

"It's ok Alex." I whispered, gentally rubbing my hand up and down her back. She snuggled closer into me. Her breathing was fast. Her arm snaked around my side and her lips lightly curved.

"Thank you." She whispered. Her soft lips pressed a kiss against my cheek and the side of my mouth. Quickly I stole a kiss from her, causing her to giggle. Fingers pressed against the nape of my neck as she brought my head in closer to hers. She started to leave a trail of wet kisses down my neck. A quiet moan accidentally slipped from my mouth as she kissed on my sweet spot. Cold fingers slipped up my back as she playfully nipped at my skin. Alex was acting like a total turn on.

"Whats gotten into you?" I mumbled into the side of her neck.

"Why don't you come find out?" Her voice was seductive, sending goosebumps on my skin. Her hand removed from my back as she pulled away from out heated embrace. Her height loomed over me as I laid back against the couch. Blue orbs staring at mine as she backed up towards the hall. Teasing me with gesturing her finger, I quickly got up and started to walk over to her. My pace became faster as I playfully grabbed her arm, tugging her into me. Alex lightly screamed as I put my arms around her, pushing her against the nearest wall. She stumbled backwards, causing me to laugh. Her chest rising against mine. I buried my head into the crook of her neck.

"Is this some sort of game Alex?" I growled.

"I don't know wanna find out?" She grinned, hot breath sending me a chill.

Her response made me chuckle. This situation had reminded me of the day we met, when I took her up to the ocean. "Shall we?" Her small hand gripped mine, and I pulled her behind me to the bedroom. The light dimly lit up the room as I pushed her backwards towards the bed. Our foreheads against another, our hands entwined, eyes locked. Her fingers fumbled with the hem of my shirt, instantly peeling it off of me. I started to pull up hers as her hands pushed against my chest.

"Harry.."

"What?" I questioned, pulling the shirt up the curve of her backside.

"I-I can't." She stuttered.

"Please." I let go of her shirt.

"Not tonight, not now."

"But I can make you feel-" She cut me off.

"No.." Her voice was quiet. She moved away from me, sitting down on the edge of the bed. Her eyes were closed as her head pointed down. I stood in front of her, taking in her beautiful features. "I'm sorry." She whispered. I took a seat beside her, placing my arm around her backside.

"It's fine." I pressed a kiss against her cheek. "I would never hurt you."
