The sun was setting, turning the sky into a magnificent orange color. Harry was taking me somewhere for the night out and he promised that it'd take my breath away. His large hand rested on top of mine and I glanced over to him. He had on a gray beanie that pushed his curls back, some ringlets escaping out the side, along with a white shirt that hugged his torso exposing his muscles, along with black jeans. Suddenly the car came to a stop.
"Turn around."
My eyes locked in with Harry's and then I looked down to his hands. Long fingers gripped a dark gray cloth. I instantly was confused but I did what he told me to do. My hands tossed through my hair as I turned left in his leather seats, looking out the window. The cloth was put infront of my face and then pulled back in front of my eyes. He blindfolded me. "What are you doing?" I questioned as I turned back around in the seat to face what I thought would be Harry.
“You’ll see.” Those were his only words and the car started to move again. Only a few minuets passed and I heard Harry unbuckle his seat belt and open his door. The car was filled with silence which Harry broke by opening up my door. Cold air crashed against my legs and Harry’s hand grabbed mine. He helped me out of the car and I stepped on to what felt like grass. I took a step and stumbled and Harry caught me in his arms.
“Careful now.” He softly laughed.
His arm grazed around my side and he pulled me into his warm body. I couldn’t help but to stumble as Harry guided me to wherever we were going. Finally we stopped and Harry removed his arm from my side. I felt him brush past me as he moved behind me. The blindfold moved slightly on my face and then it was removed. My eyelashes fluttered as my eyes adjusted. Harry didn’t lie, my breath was instantly taken away from what stood in front of me.
A giant, blue hot air balloon stood up in the middle of an empty field. The sunset was almost gone and streaks of blues and pinks raced across the sky. Harry’s finger tangled with mine and I turned to him. Green eyes sparkled above me and I smiled. “It’s, it’s beautiful.”
“Thought you might like it.” He winked and then softly kissed my right cheek. We stood there in silence for a few more seconds until Harry broke the sound barrier. “Are we just going to stand here all night?” I couldn’t help but giggle. A little old man stood outside of the basket and he helped us both in and then lit up the balloon. Flames raised right in front of Harry and I, illuminating his green eyes. It was only seconds until the balloon lifted off the ground. I gulped and started to squeeze Harry’s hand.
“Scared?” I looked over to him, long eyelashes fanned across his rose colored cheeks.
“S-sorta.” I looked out to the view below us and Harry’s car had practically disappeared. My stomach started to lightly churn.
Harry placed his hands on my waist, closing the space between us. His head rested on top of mine and I buried my face into his chest. He placed a kiss onto my head and hugged me a little tighter. “You’re safe with me.”
I brought my head up and met my eyes with his. The sun finally set and the only light came from the flame that carried us throughout the sky. Harry softly smiled and rubbed his hand up and down my back. Somehow his touch made me feel safe.
“You look beautiful tonight.”
My cheeks blushed and he flashed his beautiful smile. “You don’t look to bad yourself.”
I pulled out of his grip and leaned over the side of basket. Brown hair fell in front of my eyes and I brushed it back. I couldn’t believe the view, it was amazing. Small lights glowed below us and the moon lit up the sky.
“Harry, what’s your family like?” I asked. Harry hasn’t ever told me anything about him or his family. The only thing I knew about him was his last name, Styles. That was it.
“I don’t really have a family” He paused and I quickly turned my attention to him. “It’s just me, Lucy, my aunt. . .” His words trailed off and he lifted up his head and his eyes met mine. The flame stopped and I noticed that the balloon was lowering back towards the ground. I grabbed his hand and softly rubbed my thumb against it. “And you.”
Emerald green eyes pierced straight into mine. His warm hands snaked around my waist, pulling me in close. Hot puffs of warm breath pushed on my skin. His breath was shaky. I'd lost myself staring into his eyes as his lips connected with mine. The kiss was sweet, different from the ones we've shared before. The warmth of his body pressed against mine caused me to shiver.
"Alex, I want to take things slow. I feel like if we move to fast this relationship could break.."
My thumb pressed frimly against his knuckles. I leaned up to press a kiss on his cheek. "I would like that." I whispered into his ear.
Before I knew it the balloon landed on the ground. Harry and I carefully exited out the basket and back into the field. The sky was dark, the only light we had was the white light beaming from the moon. When we reached the car Harry pushed me up against the cold side. Warm, wet kisses were sprinkled down my neck as his hands roamed my backside.
"I've wanted to get you out of that dress all night." He whispered, hot breath bringing goosebumps about my skin. "I want to strip you naked, throw you on my bed and fuck you until you leave scratches on my back." My breath hitched in my throat. Harry pulled away from me and I looked up at him. His lips curved into a smirk. The greens of his eyes had turned darker. Our gaze did not break as he lifted me up, my legs wrapping around his waist. His face buried into the crook of my neck. Teeth nipped at the skin above my collarbone. The stinging was enough for me to know that he had drawn blood to the surface.
"Harry.." I groaned, his erection pressed firmly against my thighs. "What are you doing?"
He blew cold air on the hurt skin. "You're mine." My hands tangled in the curls on the nape of his neck. The intensity of our breathing escalated. Dark green eyes fiercely pierced into mine.
"Always."
