The window of the car slid down, revealing Harry. His eyes intently staring down Alex as she looked back at him in shock.
Why did he come back?
"Harry.." Alex whispered.
He didn't reply, instead opening the car door, allowing Alex to get out of the pouring rain.
She sat down on his leather seats, water dripping down her arms and legs. The memory of how they met, the memory of her cold skin against the cold leather.
A smile crept on her lips, causing Harry to smile slightly.
"What?" He questioned.
Alex snapped out of her thoughts. "This is just like how we met..."
"Yeah.. It is."
The silence between them felt awkward.
"Harry look," Alex began, turning her attention towards Harry. His gaze meeting hers. "I'm sorry about what I said... So, so sorry. I love you more than anything. You were the only on there for me when I needed someone to hold me, and tell me it was going to be ok. You've showed me over and over again how supportive you can be. And I know you've Meade up along the way, but the past is the past and were living in the present." She stopped, releasing a breath.
"I feel so stupid for how I responded earlier and I just can't decide-"
His lips pressed against hers. Moving against one another, Harry grabbed her waist, bringing her onto his lap.
Giggles erupted from their mouths when her bottom caused the horn to beep. The kiss deepened. Her fingers tugging and pulling at his hair. Harry's hand working their way down her back. Everything becoming so passionate.
"Harry.." Alex whispered into the kiss.
"Hmm."
"What if the cops see us?" She asked, completely breaking the kiss. Her small hands landing at the nape of his neck.
"Let them see." He whispered, bringing his lips to her neck. Alex moaned in response. Harry sucking and licking every inch of her tanned, smooth skin. He breathed in her vanilla scent.
This is where they wanted to always be. In each others arms.
But that soon came to and end when Harry's phone began to ring.
"Not now." He groaned, pulling his phone from his pocket.
"Hello?" He answered.
A few minutes if silence.
"She... She what?! Is she..."
Alex became frightened at his words. They were broken, shaky.
"I-I'm on my way.." Tears threatened his eyes.
The green in his eyes disappeared, turning dull and lifeless. He stared down at his now shaking hands.
"My... My sister... She..."
"Harry? What happened?"
Tears fell from his eyes.
"I-I-I need to go, Alex we need too.." Harry pulled Alex off of him, sitting her back into her seat. He didn't answer Alex's questions, instead he put the car in drive and started speeding down the wet road.
His heart was beating out of his chest. Out of all people why did this happen to him?
Alex sat quietly in her seat, examining the small infinity ring on her finger. How could such a perfect night end in such a disaster?
