I got up off of him and he pouted his lips. His hands still connected with mine, he pulled me behind him to my door. He opened it and guided me through my own house. We stopped right in front of the guest room and I pulled away from his grip. My heels dug into my carpet, trying to restrain Harry from moving any further. "Harry, I um, I need to stay here." He turned around and looked me straight in the eyes and his eyebrows slightly frowned, causing a crease in his forehead. Harry grabbed my waist and pulled me in to his body and looked down at me, causing me to look up at him.

"Harry I have to get back to reality." I placed my hand on to his chest and used all my strength trying to push myself away from him. His sparkling, green orbs trailed up and down my chest as he fisted my shirt.

"Alex."

His fingertips dug into my side, causing me to lightly whimper. Green eyes locked with mine. I felt his breathing pick up, along with mine. My mind was circling with things I needed to do. Harry was nice for giving me a ride home in the rain and getting me breakfast but I still knew nothing about him. My future was on the line and I had no time to deal with Harry. As we looked each other in the eyes I heard a door slam from down the hall. It made me jump and I pulled away from Harry to see who it was.

My feet padded across the carpet, scanning the hall. It was my brother, Carter. He looked at me then focused his attention to Harry who stood behind me. A look of disgust distinguished his face as he walked down to in front of me. Harry didn't hesitate to stand beside me.

"Who the hell is he?" Carter questioned, alcohol lingered on his breath.

"He's um, he's a friend of mine." I panicked. What if he told our mom that I brought home some stranger to our house. Let alone a guy.

Carter walked to stand in front of Harry. They were about the same height but Harry was a little taller. Carter's brown hair matching along with Harry's. I looked down to see Harry tightly clenching his fists and watched his chest quickly raised up and down. Carter smacked his hand on his chest, shoving Harry slightly backwards.

"Carter. Stop!" I yelled at him.

"If you do anything to hurt my sister," He paused looking at me. "I will beat the hell out of you." Harry didn't do anything. I could tell by the look on his face that he tried his best to keep from hitting Carter. I pushed Harry back behind me and placed myself in the middle of them, my back against Harry's front. My breathing began to pick up, feeling Harry's chest rise against my back. Rage filling my body.

"Carter. Knock it off and go mind your own business." I pushed him away. Carter let out a loud groan in disgust then he headed to the steps. I focused my attention back at Harry. His green eyes had lost their sparkle they once held. His attention fixed on Carter as he walked down the hall. "Harry, why don't you leave."

Carter was stomping his way down the stairs, mumbling words that I couldn't here. Then he stopped. It was silent for a few seconds. "Yeah Harry. Why don't you get the hell out of here."

I looked into Harry's eyes and rubbed my hand up and down his arm trying to get him to calm down. "Promise me you'll just ignore him." I whispered. Harry nodded his head in response then he leaned towards my face and planted a kiss on my lips. It wasn't a real passionate kiss but it was simple. I kind of liked it. My stomach filled with butterflies. Brown curls tickling my face as his nose brushed against mine. I then led Harry down to the door. Before he left he turned back to me.

"Bye Alex."

"Good bye Harry." His head leaned into mine and he softly planted a kiss on my cheek. I watched as he pulled away in his black car. Carter brushed past me and walked out the door. I focused behind him as my mom pulled into the driveway.
