"Ah, yes. The space pod." YiYang repeats as if the thought was furthest from his mind. Then, taking out a flat metallic plank the size and shape of his palm, he walks towards the resting pod with two pairs of confounded eyes following his every move. The crown prince enters the pod and looks over his shoulder, "What are you standing there for? Does the resting pod scare you..." he directs his trademark smile, "then again, perhaps it excites you, hum!?" The crown prince wiggles his brows, gesturing them to come closer.
If YiHuang's eyes were capable of shooting bullets, YiYang would be dead. Thankfully, that was not one of the second prince's gifts. "Brother, you find the most inopportune time to bring up things that are none of your business." He says irritable, taking his place next to his brother with Zhang, who had been unusually quiet since entering the establishment, practically plastered to his side.
Ignoring the criticism, the crown prince continues, "Every resting pod in this section of the establishment is connected to a server that is as weakly secured shut as a prostitute's legs."
"Brother!"
"My apologies, Ah-Huang. In my defense, you are adorable when you are angry." He chuckles and leans forward, placing the plank over what looks like a virtual socket. "The code changes every day, but that's not a problem for those who have basic knowledge of the system."
"What is the code for?" The human inquiries just as a clicking sound emanates from the plank.
"Got it!" The crown prince beams, fanning himself with the plank, "It's the emergency exit, obviously." He shrugs, hoping that his reply is explanation enough. It isn't.
"Emergency exit?" YiHuang asks, exchanging a bewildered look with Zhang.
"Oh! Sorry, I just...for a moment, I forgot that you don't get out much." YiYang shrugs, looking amused inside of apologetic, "This establishment is hardly legal so, it's but natural that they have a plan in place for if and when the authorities come to inspect."
The two (almost) pure souls nod, and the knowledgeable one continues, "An escape route of sorts is made available in every rest pod on this floor. The route leads to a holding area. What no one except the architect is aware of is that there is a hidden door in the holding area that leads to an enormous launching bay. That is where the pod is." As the man finishes, he exits the pod, "Sustenance will be here shortly. I will let it in. You two...you two have the resting pod for a bit."
Blood rushes to the younger prince's face, "Brother!""This is what one does when they book pods on this floor. It won't bother the staff. I would have made use of it if I were given this chance." YiYang winks shamelessly and practically pushes the two inside the rest pod. "Try to make it sound real." He instructs, pulling the screen closed.
"Brother, we can just proceed with-"
"No, we can't. It will rouse suspicion if all of us are not accounted for and are acting properly." YiYang replies, stretching on the mattress, "This is comfortable." He hums, satisfied, and closes his eyes.
"Your highness, how did you know-"
"Officer Zhang, it's alright if you don't want to use this opportunity, but I would really like you to not bother me."
The room descends into silence.
Inside the resting pod, two restless hearts thump in unison. Since the confession, the two had not had a chance to act on their heart's most primal desires. However, now that they had the time and opportunity to be with each other, both felt awkward. In the dimly lit space that was just enough to fit two and a half Yuanjians, the two men stayed still as rocks, with eyes locked with each other.
