They both die at the end (alternate ending)

I wake up feeling unbothered I'm going to die. As I was looking around trying to find my phone, Mateo was sleeping peacefully next to me I couldn't resist staring at him. I found my phone and I checked the time to see how long we have left to live. But as soon as I saw the time it felt like dreaming. In a panic I shook Mateo to wake him up.

"What's happening? Are we dead" Mateo mumbled."Dude wake up and look at the time!" I shouted. Mateo wore his glasses and the moment he saw my phone he looked like he saw a ghost.

"Why is the time 1:04 am??"

"I don't know?! I think my phone broke or something, check your phone" I said without missing a beat. Mateo looked around for his phone and when he opened it, it still said 1:05 am. We couldn't understand what was happening. Mateo unlocked his phone and went to the news channel. 

"Why are you opening the news?" I asked. Mateo didn't answer and still kept looking at his phone. A reporter was standing in front of the deathcast company. "Breaking news. Deathcast had a series of malfunctions that they accidentally called several people telling they are about to die. The head of deathcast will speak abou-

Mateo switched of his phone. We looked at each other in disbelief. Then I started grinning. Mateo started smiling. In a few seconds we started to laugh uncontrollably till we were in tears. "We aren't gonna die" said Mateo. We weren't gonna die. Now we were kissing. This wasn't 'the last kiss we will ever have'. We were kissing like two teenagers, who have their lives ahead of them.

"Oh my god I have to call Lidia" Mateo exclaimed. I almost forgot that Lidia and Plutos would be crying thinking we were dead. "You're right I'm going to call the Plutos." Someone above has given us a second chance and we are gonna use it.
