What was July's text? I found out her dad was shipped out on the way to the army, and while on his way he was bombed. Killed at the incident. Her texted was very long with graphic detail, Katelyn, I relize you've had a bad day, but I need you now! Please! My dad flies off the Calofornia to be in the army yesterday, but you were so happy with your sister and all. I just couldn't put you down. Anyway he was sent off this morning, and when he was on his way he was bombed by some mysterious yellow plane, which has not been found. My dad's body lay on the boat deck, in a heap. His insides splattered everywhere, blood all over the ship window he was by, leg flew off, and his head...oh his super nice head. It had glass stuck all over it. In his eyes, his lips, and even cut an ear off. Please come over here! We-Cade, Eli, you, I-are starting a SFN. Supporting Friend Network. This is when someone come to comfort the other, and someone will always be there. Eli is not sure if he can come over, please come! :(

"Grandma! read this instantly!" I ran into the kitchen, and waved the phone at her. She took the blue iPhone out of my hands and read the text. "Can I run over there? She needs to live here!"

"Run. Go." That's all she could manage to get out before I ran into the street in messy clothes, makeup all over my face, and a horribly messy bun. No neighbors where outside to see my hideousness, luckily. But that was the least of my worries. Run loved two houses down from me, so I was there in less than a minute. The only thing I brought was my phone, but that's all I needed.

I bust open their door, slam it shut and scream, "July! Where are you? I'm here!" Eli came through the door behind me super silent. He puts his hand over his mouth, turns me around, and puts his finger over his lips telling me to be quiet. I nod and he removes his hand. "Where do you think she is?"

"She gave me a clue. Look," he pulls his phone out of his pocket and shows me the text: When it's light I melt
When it's dark I stand still
Hopefully something can catch my tears
-July <3

"Candle," I say. I'm not sure how I knew but I did, and right as I said candle my phone went off.
Katelyn,
What is the color of the sky? Blue
What's the opposite of down? Up
What's the opposite of out? __
-July

"In?" Eli said, probably reading the text faster than me, but then he spotted my wrist. "Katelyn! What did you do?!"

"I just cut my self a couple times, no biggy okay? Let's just focus," I look down at my shoes embarrassed.

"A couple?" He grabs my wrist. I cringe in pain, "Katelyn this is more than a couple times, it almost looks like you tried to commit sucide! I'm calling Cade immediately!"

"No, please. He already knows my life is a mess. I don't want him to think I'm suicidal, he might break up with me so he won't be in the drama," tears began to form in my eyes. Drip, drip, drip down they came. But I just stood there looking in Eli's eyes.

"I'm texting him to see if he can come over here, and let's get back to July. So far we have candle in," he pulled up his notes on his phone and typed Candle and In. Then he texted Cade. Once he sent the text him phone went off, quack quack, quack quack. "Nice text tone."

"Shut up, it's from July," this time it read:
In softball what do you run to? _____
Softball to me when I was little ment?

"Basement!" We both shouted and ran down into her basement, he basement isn't finished and has no lighting yet. Her dad was going to have an electrician come Thursday next week. We looked around the walls that were up, but we couldn't find her. Finally my eyes caught a glimpse of light, I started to run toward it, but I ran into a wall. I fell onto the concrete floor hitting my head hard. I started are spots and darkness for five seconds, and opened my eyes. Eli was hanging over me giving me a confused look.
