Meme was sitting by himself inside the pawn shop's safe house. They had summoned a horde by pushing the button in the factory. Although everyone had made it out okay. Meme was still holding a grudge against Socks for lying to him, Why would he do that? What was the point? Meme was better off knowing the status of the infections hold. It gave him motivation to get to Mercy hospital to find the cure. The rest of the group was looking out for the safest route. Meme had decided to stay in the safehouse with Socks who was sleeping. Still injured which meant he needed more breaks then the rest of the group. Meme's gaze swept around the room until he stopped at a bit of graffiti that caught his eye because in big blue words read CEDA. The organization that was supposed to help them. He stood up and walked over to get a better look at the words scattered around on the wall. 'This isn't a normal flu, it's airborne one second and the next it's only transmissible through touch? It mutates daily! What is it CEDA?' one of the sentences read. It was decently recent which didn't help with Memes anxiety. 'Mercy hospital is overrun! Save yourselves!' Another sentence read it was a bit older than the first bit of graffiti but it was still recent. Memes gaze flew to near the floor there was another sentence. It was extremely recent, like the person had just written it. What it said sent shivers down Memes' spine.

"It can't be real. Like c'mon, CEDA did something right?" Meme asked himself. Socks started shuffling Meme turned to look at him Socks yawned. The yellow had creeped up more across his eye. It had a paint-like pattern. Parts of the yellow already had reached up to the top of his eye while some parts were barely spreading away from the fully yellow mass at the bottom of his eye. Meme bit his lip again, his nervous habit. If what this graffiti was true that meant that there was no helping Socks.

No Memegod keep positive, like ally is always saying. One part of his brain told him Hope is the best form of torture. Another part of his brain retorted, making Meme want to slap himself.

"What's wrong Meme?" Socks asked tiredly.

"Look at this text down here." Meme commanded pointing to the bottom set of graffiti. Socks limped over and looked down at the text. His eyes widened, and Meme knew for sure he wasn't imagining it.

"Did I read it right?" Meme asked. "Are you sure it says No? Does it mean No to something else and some wrote over it?" Meme asked frantically. Socks stood up and turned to Meme looking around frantically.

"Meme calm down! We can't always trust graffiti! This isn't CEDA themselves coming to deliver this message." Socks tried to reassure him but he wasn't entirely sure himself. "Keep it in mind though, Since it might be important in the future." Socks suggested. Meme nodded. He heard the door start to open and saw Ally standing in the doorway. The rest of the group slowly trailed in after her.

"Ally come take a look at this, What do you think it means?" Socks waved for her to come over and check it out. Ally walked over and she started to read what they were talking about. Her expression getting more concerned as her eyes moved down the wall.
"What does it say?" Nadwe asked. Ally inhaled, she glanced at both Meme and Socks. Then she started to read it.

"The first one says 'This isn't a normal flu, it's airborne one second and the next it's only transmissible through touch? It mutates daily! What is it CEDA?' " She read out loud. She looked at the next bit of text. " 'Mercy hospital is overrun! Save yourselves!' and the last bit of text is the most recent," She said, She glanced at Nadwe then back at Socks who seemed to be on the verge of tears. She attempted to stall for a few second by acting like she couldn't remember what it said glancing back at every few seconds.

"Spit it out Ally!" Laff shouted, he was usually the quietest out of the group so it surprised all of them when he was loud.
"I think Socks should read it since it portrays to him more," Ally suggested. Socks looked at her and hesitated. He brought up his sharp claw-like nail and tried to bite it. That didn't work since the mutation made it probably stronger than steel.

"Fine," He sighed after a moment. The message on the wall read.

'CEDA lied THERE IS NO CURE'
