19 || pumpkins (pt. 1)

"I know it's past halloween, but we never got to carve pumpkins..." Lani says after the movie finishes. I notice Coral nodding slowly, smirk on her face.

"oh, I wish we had pumpkins to carve..." Coral says. I muffle my laughter by hiding my face in the crook of Tommys neck.

Sapnap comes in, Karl close behind both holding four pumpkins each. I smile, watching as Sapnap places the pumpkins on the ground, a wave of relief washes over his face as the last pumpkin gets places on the floor.

"and there's four more coming!" Karl exclaims, placing his pumpkins down an leaving the house again. I smile picking out the one I find the best.

"are we gonna stream it?" Tubbos asks quietly. I stay silent, honestly not wanting to.

"nah, lets just do it together. We have like- two months to stream, don't worry about it," Morria smiles. I let out a sigh of relief and help Sam set out a tarp on the ground.

I open Pintrest and scroll through until I find a pumpkin design I like. I grab a knife, sitting in front of my pumpkin.

"Lillyyyyy!" June laughs, rushing downstairs. I look up at her with a smirk, "yes, June?"

"first, fuck you," she sticks up the middle finger, "second, can we talk in your room?" I smile, standing up, "yeah, of course."

June and I go into my room, sitting on my bed. "What's up?"

"well, Toby and I... possibly, could've... I dunno..." she says slowly. I smack her, "what happened?"

"we almost kissed..." she says eventually. I gasp, boncing up and down on the bed, "yesssss!"

-BEFORE HAND-

June laughs, leaning over on her crossed legs after a marshmallow hit her eye. Tubbo smiles, giggling. June sits up, and makes eye contact with Tubbo. There's a weird awkwardness, and June felt herself slowly start moving towards him?

but just centimeters away from eachother, they heard Morria and Lilly arguing over, you guessed it, Brooklyn 99 characters.

"fuck..." Tubbo sighs, sitting back and looking at June, soft blush covering his face. June looks down, trying to hide her blush-covered face.

-NOW-

my mouth hangs open, "what?!" I exlcaim, getting up off the bed and shooting my arms around. June flops back on the bed, "I know!" She says, putting a pillow on her face and screaming into it.

"are you guys carving pumpkins or nah?!" Coral yells up the stairs. I smirk, "you have your little crisis while I go carve a pumpkin." I start backing out of the room and darting down the stairs.

"Tommy, did Toby tell you or no?" I whisper to Tommy. He looks at me with a confused expression, "tell me what?"

I burst out into a giggle fit, "sorry, he must've not wanted you to know!" I say through the giggles.

"what?!" Tommy exclaims, tickling me. I start laughing, "stopp!" He starts tickling me more, "tell me and I'll stop!"

"stop tickling me and I'll tell you!" I say, leaning back on Tommy. Tommy stops and hugs my waist, making me flinch. Tommy laughs, "why did you flinch so hard?!"

"cause I thought you were gonna tickle me again!" I reply, running a hand through my hair.

"I'll tell you after the pumpkins," I whisper, watching June walk down the stairs. I smirk, as she looks at me and Tommy gusturing my hand between me and Tommy, you could be like Tommy and I, I mouth silently.

June shakes her head, taking a pumpkin and sitting next to Tubbo. Making me smirk again.

"okay- Lilly- why do you keep smirking at June whenever she does anything like- 5 feet near Toby?!" Morria jokes, then falls into a fit of laughter, "ohhh!!!!"

"what?!" June exclaims, stabbing a knife into the top of her pumpkin. I giggle, "maybe don't intimidate Toby, yeah?" I look at Tubbos confused expretion start to be covered in blush.

"I think Toby gets it," Sam points to Tubbo, who gets up and goes to the kitchen with a face red with blush.

"I'll go talk to him," I sigh, thinking that this was my fault. Tommy shakes his head, pulling me into his lap, "I think he needs a moment. To comprehend, y'know." I giggle at the thought and start carving the top of my pumpkin.

I sketch out my design on the front of my pumpkin. Glancing up and seeing June and Tubbo sneaking looks at eachother every few seconds.

"just kiss already," I whisper under my breath, silently. Tommy chuckles lightly and shows me his design for the pumpkin.

It's a lillypad. I smile, giving Tommy a smile, heart melting. "Tommyy," I groan, hiding my face in his shoulder.

"what did you do?" Tommy asks. I turn my pumpkin, showing a small design of a moon and cat.

I grab a rag and dunk it in water, then rub it on my pumpkin removing the sharpie. Permenet marker my ass.

then I draw out a Minecraft jukebox and a disk, with the initals 'LP&TS' writen on it. Tommy chuckles, "now how are you doing that?"

"I have an engraver!" Coral says happily, getting up and grabbing a small tool. I smile, "thanks! Thank god you have one."

"I'm guessing you dont want yours posted on Instagram?" Coral smiles. I nod, "correct!"

I use the engraver, thining the pumpkins skin just enough for light to shine through, but also not go fully through.
