Chapter 1

Y/N POV

'CRASH''BANG''CLICK'

"OWWW.....YANG JUNGWON COME DOWN HERE AND HELP ME." I yelled to my best friend jungwon. Jungwon acts cold-hearted but is a real softie. Jungwon is my best friend. We have been best friends since we were young. Let me tell you the story.

It all started on the first day of 1st grade and I was new to the school. I had no friends so at lunchtime I had no one to eat my lunch with or hang out with. I walked around the playground and saw a boy sitting by himself. I went over and introduced myself.

"Hiii I'm Park Y/N! What's your name?"

At first, he gave me a cold glare. Then he flashed a smile. It was so cute. He had cute dimples that I wanted to poke.

"Hi Park Y/N, I'm Yang Jungwon" He said with another cute smile.

I asked if I could sit with him and he said yes. We talked about so much that day. We had so much in common. Then after that day, we became best friends. We did everything together. We even had sleepovers. We also made other friends when we got into middle school. He name was Lee Masiy.

Lee Maisy was my best friend that was a girl. She has an older brother who was 4 years older than us. He never really talked tho. She was super dirty-minded but also a super funny person.

She was also basically in love with my brother Jay since year 7, but he never really talked to her unless it was a hi or bye when she was at my house.

Another one of my friends was my cousin Kim Sunoo. He was my sunshine. He made my day brighter that's for sure. Anyways back to what was happening before.

"YANG JUNGWON COME DOWN HERE AND HELP ME!" I yelled out to Jungwon

"I'm coming I'm coming." He said laughing and running down the stairs.

"STOP LAUGHING AT ME"

"Sorry it was just funny hearing you crash everywhere"

The reason why there was a crash was because I was in the basement. Now you probably wondering why i am in the basement, well the truth is I had a huge crush on my brothers best friend Jake. In 2 days it was gonna be my birthday and I invited a bunch of people to my party and jake was one of them.

I was getting some old decorations from the basement for the party. and I had invited jungwon to help me find them. Jungwon was no help until he heard me scream for his help.

"Jungwon can you help me up please," I said in pain, "I think I have a concussion"

"Haha stop overreacting, I don't think you have a concussion" He helped me up but that i had a moment. We were looking at each other. I felt butterflies in my stomach.

"umm sorry, I will get up now," I said really awkward.

"Nonono it's ok. It's my fault"

Then there was a really awkward silence. Then I got a call from masiy.

"Hey Bitch are you ready to go shopping for a birthday dress" She said so excitedly. Finally, something to get me out of this awkward situation.

"Um yeah ill meet you at the shops in 30 minutes" I said and hung up. I then turned to jungwon.

"well, I should go. I have to go do some shopping for my birthday"

"Um yeah, ok. Have fun" He said. He gave me a hug which felt awkward and left the house.

Did I have a crush on my best friend? No, I can't. He's my Best friend...My best...Friend

JUNGWON'S POV

I left Y/N's house with mixed emotions. Does she like me to? Did I do something wrong? Am I good enough for her?............ Is she still in love with jake?

These questions needed answers. I looked down at my phone. It was a picture of Y/N and me at a theme park. It was one of the best days I had with her. I was in love with her. I've had a crush on her since 6th Grade when she tried a new haircut. It looked so good. Then the day I was gonna confess she came up to me and said.

"JUNGWON I JUST SO MY BROTHERS FRIEND JAKE! HE IS SO HOT!" T

hose words broke me. I just said cool and walked away. I cried on my way home. It was raining that day and I forgot my umbrella. The note I had for her was soaked in water. Making me cry more.

I never told her about that day or anything about me liking her.

I was out dress shopping but I couldn't stop thinking about what had just happened with me and Jungwon. But I can't like my best friend, that's so weird, right.

"How about this dress. It says come talk to me but also says I'm a whore"

"Uhh idk"

"What is wrong with you. Are you nervous about your party or something?"

I looked at her then away

"OMG GIRL DO YOU LIKE JUNGWON!"

"Huh, what no. That's not allowed he's my best friend"

"So what"

"I like jake and that's final. Ok now let's buy this dress"
