You had had a fight with Hiro. And every day was torture for you, not being able to contact Hiro.

One day, you decided to fix the problem. At SFIT, you walk up to him. "Hey, um, Hiro?"

He glared at you. "You wanna come over after school today?"

"Ya, sure, whatever." He replies, rolling his eyes.

Walking over to Fred's place on the sofa, you asked, "Hey. Wanna come over to play video games and read comic books after school?"

"I'm already overly excited! Yea!" He yells. You smile.

You turn around, just as the bell rang. "Let's go." You grinned, grabbing Hiro's hand.

You sat down on the couch, patting the seat next to you and looking pleased. Hiro, looking very grumpy, stomped over and sat down. On your hand. "Oww! What the heck!?" You cried, even though it didn't hurt at all. You tried to pull out your hand, but Hiro was too heavy (AKA fat).

You pulled harder, and finally, your hand was free. You scooted away from Hiro and grabbed a control, along with Fred. You grinned at him. "Ready to play (favorite multiplayer video game)?"

A chorus of yea!'s was heard, though one sounded bored. You three started.

The TV blared with sound and light, and you were immediately absorbed into the game. So absorbed, that when Fred called your name, your thumb jabbed down on the wrong button. You died.

"Fred!" You yelled, punching him hard. He laughed and pushed you, and you fell onto Hiro. He was looking at you with an amused face. "Get off." He pushed you off.

"Geez, it wasn't me. It was Fred!" You exclaimed.

"Is not!"

"Is too!"

"Is not!"

"Is too!"

"Fine!" You blink in surprise. He actually agreed!

You three played a few more games, in which you won all except for the last one.

"Haha!" Hiro laughed at you. "You lost!"

At first, you thought he was talking good-naturedly, but when you glanced at his face, it was filled with mock and laughter.

"Well, I won the others," you countered.

"But you lost this one. It's like fighter wars over and over again with success. But once you lose, your side is gone, is nothing." He says matter-of-factly. You had nothing to say, nothing to say at all.

"Well-"

"You're just a stupid girl, a dumb person who I thought would be nice to-" he turns red. "You're just a self-centered, ugly brat who will never be worth being friends with. You-"

"Hiro, uh, I think you should stop. I mean, look at her face." Fred interferes. Sure, tears were welling up in your eyes, but the anger was unbearable. You balled up your fists, and prepared to scream and shout back at him, but your wall finally broke, the wall that kept all your emotions back.

Your hands flew to your face, and you said, your voice wavering, "Look," you looked up. "I just wanted to bring us back together, Hiro. I-I was hoping that we'd be able to be friends again, to be happy. But I guess not." You spun on your heels and walked out of your house, to the park.

"____-" you heard him say, but you kept on walking, your eyes set forward. He doesn't matter anymore, you told yourself over and over again, but it didn't work.

You sat down against a tree, hugging your knees. After what seemed like forever, you saw footsteps behind your blurring eyes.

You looked up, and your eyesight cleared as the tears dropped. The person bent down, and you got a closer look. It was Hiro.

You looked away, but Hiro's hands brought your head back. Then he leaned forward and kissed you.

You jerked backwards, hitting your head against the trunk. You winced in pain before looking back at Hiro, who's eyes were filled with hurt.

"I'm sorry." You whisper.

He stands up and walks away.
