(12) ~ Cat Troubles (Part One)

Here's a Hiro x Neko requested by VioletIceHeart0072 . A neko is a human with cat ears and a cat tail, like in the pic. Just something so you guys'll know. Sorry for splitting this into two parts, but I really want to update. Don't forget to vote, comment, share, and most importantly, Enjoy!~

"A hint of hydrogen peroxide-"

"Uhh, Honey Lemon? Are you sure? Cause I'm pretty sure that hydrogen peroxide is not edible." You interrupted Honey Lemon.

"Well, what is salt made of?"

"Uhhhh...../Sodium and chloride?"

"Exactly! Salt is made of sodium and chloride, and sodium explodes when exposed to moisture while chloride is a poisonous gas! But when you put them together," Honey Lemon makes a smashing motion with her hands, "they become edible!"

"(Y/N)! Just hurry up and let Honey Lemon finish her speed potion!" GoGo exclaimed. "I need this ASAP."

"But I'm the test subject! I should be able to know if the speed potion would be dangerous or not!"

"Just hurry up, Honey Lemon." GoGo says.

After a few minutes of discussing and mixing, Honey Lemon held up a beaker. "Finished!"

"Add a bit of this iron powder; it'll help give (Y/N) energy." GoGo dropped a bit of silvery powder into the potion.

"No! GoGo-" Honey Lemon yelled a bit too late. Then, she shrugged. "I guess it wouldn't hurt to try."

"What!?" You yelled. The beaker was held out to you. You took it. You held the beaker up to your mouth. Thoughts filled your mind. What if you grew hair all over your body, or- or what if you grew another eye!? You held the beaker away from your lips.

"Can I go try this in the bathroom?"

"Sure, but be fast."

You scrambled to the bathroom, clutching the beaker.

You stood in front of the mirror, staring at yourself. Then, in one big gulp, you drank down the potion.

For a few seconds, nothing happened. Then, the top of your head and the small of your back started feeling numb. What is happening!? You thought.

You reached up to tuck your hair behind your ears, but instead of staying, your hair fell back in place. You didn't even feel a brush of your hair on your ears. You started to get creeped out.

Hesitantly, you reached up and pulled your hair away.... To reveal no ear. You suppressed a scream. Then, the most unexpected thing happened. Small (H/C) ears with a pink center popped out. You stared. What was going on? Reaching up to touch them, you felt the ears. They were really fuzzy.

At the same time, the ears felt you. They twitched, and you felt that, too. Yup, they're real. Okay, now, how to get them to hide like they were before?

You tried to push them back, but they popped back up instantly. After many more attempts, they still wouldn't go down. You started to panic. You couldn't let the team know!

Calm down, you told yourself. Suddenly, your cat ears went down. You smiled in relief and walked out of the bathroom to tell GoGo and Honey Lemon that their potion definitely did NOT work.
