(18) ~ Me Too

Frozen_In_Life's AN: Just a sweet Tadashi x Reader requested by @EllaWinston . I know, repeated info, but whatevs. Thanks to SweetPandaGeek !!! Ilysm! I honestly had no time whatsoever to write this, and I didn't want to disappoint you guys, so ya. Enjoy~

"Tadashi," I say. "What do you wanna show me? Just tell me already!" He leads me over to the main lab, dragging me by my wrist.

"It's a surprise!" He runs so quick that his hat almost flies off, and he has to use his free hand to hold it on his head. I groan, and my legs are burning.

"We've been running for, like, 10 minutes," I complain.

"More like 5," Tadashi corrects. We finally reach the main lab, and I almost slam into a small boy, about 14. He has fluffy, spiky hair that goes in every which direction. He has a similar face structure to Tadashi, but a bit rounder.

"(Y/N), this is my little brother, Hiro. Hiro, this is (Y/N)," Tadashi introduces. I give a little wave, and Hiro returns it. "Hiro's an acclaimed bot fighter," Tadashi says, his voice dripping with disappointment and dis-pride. Hiro gives Tadashi a glare, and Tadashi returns it. I hate to see two brothers quarrelling, so I try to break the tension.

"Anyways... Tadashi, are you gonna show Hiro around..?" Tadashi snaps the brotherly staring contest.

"Oh, yeah. Hiro, why don't you come in and see what we do?"

"What, go to see your Nerd Lab?" Hiro smirked. This guy is starting to get on my nerves. I sigh, and Tadashi says,

"Just take a look, Hiro."

We open the door into the lab.

"Heads up!" GoGo whizzes past us in a blur. Hiro looks taken back, and Tadashi smirks.

"Hey GoGo, this is brother, Hiro," Tadashi says.

"'Sup, Hiro. Welcome to the "Nerd Lab"" GoGo replies, more to Hiro than Tadashi.

"Woah... ElectroMag suspension?" As Hiro and GoGo get into a conversation about ElectroMag bikes, Tadashi walks over to Hiro, to show him Wasabi's plasma-induced lasers, and his (Tadashi's) hand brushes against mine, giving me shivers. After a few moments of obsessing over wether or not he did it on purpose, I see Tadashi, Honey Lemon, and Hiro talking about chemistry. I rush over, not wanting to get left behind. My (H/L), (H/C) hair flows behind me. I finally catch up as Tadashi and Hiro are walking towards Tadashi's lab.

"Oh, (Y/N), perfect timing. I'll show you and Hiro both what I'm working on." I step onto the cool, hard floor of Tadashi's lab.

"Hmm... (Y/N), Hiro, each of you, pick a number between 0-11."

"4," Hiro says immediately.

"Hm... 7," I say after careful analysis. 7 is the most used number (A/N: This is a legitimate fact).

"(Y/N) wins. Hiro, you're my test subject." Hiro gets a worried look that a smirk at, and Tadashi pulls out a roll of duct tape.

"Duct tape? Hate to break it to you bro, but it's already been invented," Hiro says, cheekily, as Tadashi rips off a piece and slaps it onto Hiro's arm. "Wait, wait, what are you-" Tadashi rips the tape off in a sudden movement.

"Ow, dude," Hiro exclaims. "What the heck!?" The odd noise of a balloon inflating fills the room. I look over my shoulder, and see a large.. White.. Blob.. Thing. It waddles over like a penguin, pausing to lift a stool in it's way, and proceeding to put it aside. It finally reaches directly in front of us, and waves it's hand in a circular motion.

"Hello, I am Baymax. Your personal healthcare companion. I was alerted the need for medical attention when you said ow," the robot says. Tadashi stands behind the robot, mouthing it's every word.

"Uh, hi.. Baymax," Hiro says awkwardly. Baymax's big round belly lights up, and 10 faces ranging from happy to sad show up.

"On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your pain?" The big, white robot stands still.

"Uh, a zero? I'm fine, really," Hiro replies.

"Preparing to scan. Scanning... Scan complete. You happen to have a slight epidermal abrasion on your forearm." Baymax's belly now shows a picture of the human body, indicating in red where the injury is. "I suggest an antibacterial spray." Baymax gets ready to spray Hiro, but Hiro stops him.

"What's in the spray exactly?"

"The main ingredient is Bacitracin," Baymax answers. I continue to look on from the side in awe.

"Oh, too bad, I'm actually allergic to that," Hiro lies.

"You are not allergic to Bacitracin. You do have a mild allergy to: Peanuts." Baymax sprays Hiro's arm with the antibacterial spray, and Hiro says,

"You've done some serious coating on this, brother." I have to agree.

"Yeah.. This is incredible, Tadashi," I add. Tadashi gives us a half-smile.

"He's gonna help a lot of people." That's all Tadashi's ever wanted. To help people.

"I bet he will," I reply. Hiro walks out of the lab, but Tadashi and I stay back for a little while. We hear Hiro talking to Professor Callaghan. They were talking about some sort of battery device, and Hiro said that he could show him how he put it together, when Tadashi taps on the window, and calls out,

"Hey genius! He invented those!" I snicker as I hear Hiro gasp in awe.

"Y'know Tadashi.. He has a lot of potential, your brother."

"Hey, (Y/N)... I just wanted to tell you, while we have the time, that I-" Tadashi is cut off by Hiro dragging him by the hand, and I follow.

"I have to go to this Nerd School. I-If I don't go, I'm gonna lose my mind!" Hiro rants on and on. I check my (F/C) watch, and yelp.

"Shoot! I was supposed to be home by 10:00! It's already 11:14!" I sprint off towards my house, and whip my head around and shout, "Bye Tadashi! Bye Hiro!"

**The Day of The Showcase**

"I can't believe it! That was incredible, Hiro," I gush. As I praise Hiro, I glance at Tadashi quickly and see a.. Jealous look in his eye? Maybe I'm just crazy. Why would Tadashi be jealous of me with his brother? It's not like he has feelings for me as I do to him.. Right? But I think back to when we were in his lab. 'I just wanted to tell you, while we have the time, that I-' That you what, Tadashi? We all head up to Tadashi and my favourite star tower. Hiro and Tadashi have a funny little conversation about how Hiro's fly was down, but I break in.

"Tadashi, what did you want to tell me? When we were at your lab, after you showed us Baymax," I blurt out. Tadashi looks shocked, then blushed.

"Uh, I.. Um.." He looks at Hiro. "Hey, could you, uh, give us a couple minutes?" Hiro nods slowly, and awkwardly shuffles away.

"What did you want to tell me?" I look into his warm, brown orbs, the stars leaving small flecks of white in them.

"I.." He takes my hand, sending a wave of tingly feelings and shivers up my spine. "(Y/N) (L/N), I have loved you since the day I met you. I want you to know that." Tadashi's face immediately fills with regret, and I turn cherry red.

"Oh no.. I ruined everything didn't I..?! Urg.. Why did I think that I should tell you! It's so stupid-" Before he can speak anymore, I touch my lips to his. He's taken back at first, but he slowly but surely melts into it. His lips are so soft, and I want, no, need more. I wrap my arms around his neck, and he wraps his around my waist. When we finally pull back, I whisper into his ear,

"Me too."
