(1) ~ Trustworthy?

It's the middle of the night, and you still aren't asleep. You were thinking of Hiro, and how you would ask him out to the theaters tomorrow.

You guys have known each other since you were 3, and have been best friends ever since. Without knowing about the other, you two fell in love with each other. Although you two didn't go to the same school, he still keep kept in touch with you.

Boom! Crash! Exploding sounds came from outside. You sit up, heart pounding. Something was happening outside. Throwing on your baby blue coat and (f/c) shoes, you rush outside. Miraculously, nobody was out yet.

A huge wave of dark microbots (and really small ones), maybe even big nanobots, swarmed in front of you. It seems to notice you. As the big, dark wave files towards you, you back up against the door of your house.

The millions of nanobots press you backwards and finally get to you. It forms a weird hand shape and grabs you. You scream. The nanobots close around you, but you keep screaming. You know there's no hope. You were going to die. Curling up into a ball, you prepared for the worst.

Suddenly, you hear a voice shouting. It sounded very familiar. "GoGo! Go forward work on distracting the bots. Fred and Wasabi, take the left and right flanks. Honey Lemon, you and I will go and try to save whoever got trapped. Ready? Go!" You were getting saved!

Little by little, you felt the tension in your little ball of microbots (or nanobots) loosen. Finally, the bots broke apart and you tumbled out. You would've sighed in relief, but the fact that you were falling down with the ground about 50 feet below made you scream again. Really, how many times were you going to scream today?

You covered your eyes with your hands. You were surely going to die this time. There's no chance of you surviving. After what felt like 5 hours of falling, soft arms caught you and you peaked out of your hands. "Got you." He said. The guy had messy dark hair and big, dark brown eyes. He was in a blue and red suit of armor. The dark brown eyes behind the helmet widened.

"_____?" Suddenly, you realized why the boy's voice sounded so familiar. It was Hiro. You jumped out of his arms, heart suddenly pounding hard. "Hiro! Y-you're a-a s-superh-hero!?"

Hiro looked down. "Umm.... Yea." Your initial shock disappeared, followed with rage. "And you never told me!?" You shouted, tears forming in your eyes. Hiro looked taken aback. "Hiro, you are a superhero and you never told me!? What kind of friend are you!? We've been friends since we were 3, and you still don't trust me!? I-I can't believe you, Hiro. Y-you y-you just...." You run away with your face in your hands, tears streaming down your face.

"_____! Wait! I-I'm-" Hiro runs after you. You just shut him out. You were so hurt. How could Hiro have done this to you?

You slump down on a tree, still crying with your face in your hands. Hiro's footsteps grow louder. "Look, _____, I'm sorry-"

"Hiro. Go away. Sorry won't do anything." You say coldly to him. "You're just an ordinary person to me now." Hiro looked genuinely hurt, and he looked like he was fighting back tears himself. You walk away.

"No! _____! You don't understand-"

"Yes. I do. I understand that I'm not worth being your friend. You know, I could've just chosen that other boy in kinder over you easily."

Hiro catches up to you and grabs your shoulders. Spinning you around, Hiro whispers, "And I want to make you proud that you chose me. I'm sure it wasn't the wrong decision." With that, Hiro leans in and kisses. You jerk back slightly in response, but Hiro doesn't seem to notice.

You couldn't help but let your anger and frustration and confusion fade away. You melt into his embrace and kiss back. Maybe everything was going to be alright. Just maybe.
