"Must you keep me here with my blade to me?" he says, speaking about how she has his back against a tree, with no way out. "I am your father after all, don't you think this is a bit too much?"
"You're right, perhaps I should just drive this blade into your heart instead," she lets out moving it over his chest cavity. "Death would suit you better"
"Or we can just not kill him," Thalia says, placing her fingers on the sharp blade, trying to move it away from his heart.
"Listen to your human pet. You don't want to kill me"
"No, trust me she does," Thalia says glancing back his way. "And I'll allow her to do so if you keep calling me a pet I have a name"
"My apologies human. Surely you must forgive me for not caring all that much. Bad with names and such" He says dryly clearly uninterested in learning her name or what she has to say.
"Her name is Thalia, you condescending douchebag," She says before withdrawing her weapon from him. Of course, making sure to rip at his fabric, tearing his clothes apart.
"Was that necessary?" Hades says gesturing to his now ripped clothes. "I just got this suit"
"No, but better than me cutting you in half, wouldn't you say?"
"Ha! Oh, child. You and your wild imaginations" He laughed off, shoving past Thalia, causing her to roll her eyes as she scoffs at him.
"Excuse me? To be polite instead of being rude, wouldn't kill you"
"No, but I think it is you who must show me some respect. I have been around for aeons, I have seen empires get built and fall in a manner of time. I've seen the evolution and lack thereof that you, morals, have. So surely, I know you humans are capable of showing respect especially to a God such as myself"
"What makes you different from us? Is it because you all are powerful beings? Ok sure yeah, but minus that every single one of you Gods is selfish and cold-hearted. Not you though, sweetie" She said cast her eyes to Melaina. Melaina only shrugged, not sure where she stood with that statement herself.
"She gets us," Hades says eyeing the woman before looking at his daughter. "What can I do you for?"
"I have everything that I want and even if I didn't I want nothing from you.
"Then why are you here, child? I'm sure you didn't travel all this way to tell me the simplicity of what you have and don't have" He says walking away from them both.
They shared a look before grabbing the rest of their things, following after him as the two dogs followed them.
"Since you have abandoned the underworld, Zagreus and Macaria had to take it over. You remember your two eldest kids, right? The one's that witnessed our mom's death by your hand"
"That was long ago, no need to dig through the past," He said as he kept marching on, choking on his words. "As for your siblings, I have given them as well as you a throne and a kingdom to rule over. So why the hostility? Did I do something wrong?"
"Oh, he can't be serious right now? Can he?" Thalia says out loud talking to no one in particular.
Melaina ran forward about to tackle him unable to hold back her rage especially with how he spoke without care. But even though Hades had his back towards her, he assumed now or later that she would make such a move. So with ease, he stepped to the side grabbing at her right wrist swinging her arm behind her back.
"Now settled down, child. Let us not resort to such measures that will surely end badly for you" He says to her as she struggled in his grip. "I do not wish to fight you"
