After Thanatos and Hades left, Zagreus and Macaria stayed a bit longer to chat with Melaina before soon following Thanatos to the underworld.

A few Gods and Goddesses had then arrived minutes later, minus Zeus, who was in the middle of another crisis, so Hera tells. Hera rewarded and honour both Thalia and Melaina, ensuring Melaina that Zagreus and Macaria can only truly leave the underworld only if the moment calls for them, but Melaina can visit them when she pleases without the pearl.

Hera then promoted Melaina to be a general to one of her late father's armies, leaving his other two armies to Zagreus and Macaria. She next made Thalia, Melaina second in command after seeing her bravery and willingness to fight alongside her, as well as making her a muse; having her become the official patron of comedy for Olympus and even offering her the chance to become a goddess and achieve immortality.

Thalia took the offer with no hesitation hugging the Goddess out of pure excitement, making the Goddess a bit uncomfortable.

"Oh boy," Melaina says to herself, watching her best friend hug the woman. She then proceeded to walk over pulling Thalia off of her. "Sorry about her"

"Yes, I'm sorry. Just got caught up in the moment and everything. Don't mind me"

"It is quite alright, child," Hera told her. "We have more gifts to bestow upon you two"

Ares was the first to step forward. He didn't say anything as he had blessed Melaina with a weapon. The craftsmanship of the newfound blade was astonishing and breathtakingly beautiful.

"This was Hade's favourite blade. He had used it in the battle between Kronos. I had Hephaestus touch it up for you" Ares tells her, giving it to her before walking away.

"However, I must say that this blade is not a toy," Hera told her seeing as she was practising her swings with the sword.

"No, blade ever is. What makes this one different?" Thalia asked curiously.

"This blade is not only a weapon that could kill a God alone but gives whoever wields it two more powers and protection so strong that even if a God loses their immortality the sword will still be able to keep them alive unless it breaks"

Thalia let out a low whistle impressed looking at the sword.

"I think I will stick to just well my stick as a weapon"

"We have something for you as well," Apollo told her with a smile as he and his sister presented her with a spear and shield.

"Oh, so just another stick? But with a shield this time. How grand. I love it" She says looking at the weapon with disappointment in her eyes.

The other Gods and Goddesses couldn't help but laugh at her. She then looked up at them all confused.

"Thalia, your spear is a Celestial Bronze spear that expands from a collapsible Mace canister" Artemis explained to her with a smile.

"Thalia, look you can carry it with you everywhere now, maybe even in your pocket," Melaina told her from beside her.

"So while you're this total hot badass Goddess with this badass blade to match. I'm just still a moral in your world with the possibility of becoming immortal with a spear and shield? Not to sound ungrateful just bummed out..I'll get over it. Thank you for my gifts" she said bowing her head.

"We must tell her the truth. I think she is ready" Melaina says pleading to Hera.

"No human is ever ready" Athena spoke under her breath but Melaina heard her.

"She stayed for this long, hasn't she? She's more than capable and ready. Just tell her"

"Thalia you have more of a foot in this world than you fail to believe," Hera tells her with glee and sorrow in her eyes.
