Eve whisper-yelled at her mother outside Jaime's cage.She also saw Brienne of Tarth.Catelyn was startled."Oh, Eve Stark" Jaime smirked at her."I am releasing the Kingslayer.No one must know.Brienne will be escorting him back to King's Landing".Eve's mouth was agape."Mother, how could you? This is treason!".Catelyn placed a hand over her mouth."Eve, I am doing this for your sister.I can't take any more of this.Your father is dead.I don't know where Bran and Rickon are.I don't know where Arya is.I lay awake every night, wondering if they are safe, wondering if they're dead" she said, a sob collecting in her throat."Please Eve, do not tell your brother".The eldest Stark wrapped her arms around her mother.She gave her an understanding smile."Do what you must, Mother.Robb made a grave mistake, not agreeing to return this Lannister" she threw Jaime a sideways glance."Though I am certain Lord Karstark won't take well to this.What are we to do about him?" Eve said, worry across her face."We'll deal with him tomorrow".Jaime got up, winking at Eve."Be gone, Lannister.Make sure you don't die on your way to King's Landing.See to it that he does not die, Brienne" Eve said.
"What?" Robb Stark yelled.Robb shouted.Eve and Catelyn exchanged a look."WHERE IS HE?".A banner man whispered in his ear.He stepped towards Catelyn."Is it true?".Catelyn looked at Eve and then at her son."It was for Sansa".Eve knew this would happen."You betrayed me" he stated coolly.There was melancholy rife on Catelyn's face.Eve stepped forward, holding her brother's shoulders."Your Grace, I know what mother did cannot be forgiven but she's Sansa's mother, she's our mother.How do you expect her not to care about us?" She wants her back here.She needs here back here".Robb seemed as though he had not even heard the words."How could you?" Robb looked at his mother with contempt, ignoring his sister."Your Grace, my guess is Lady Eve wanted the Kingslayer to be set free".Eve glared at him."Lord Karstark, if I were you, I'd hold my tongue".The old lord looked at Robb."My lord, what is to be done with Lady Stark.She committed treason against you".Robb reflected."No, Lady Stark shall not be punished".Karstark shot Talisa a livid look."Your Grace, I fear we lost the war the day you married that foreign bitch".
