Following a few months after the whole party thing we were now being led into this lovely cottage. While it was freezing cold going into the end of the second week of December, Alina insisted we take a look at the house before anyone else stole it.
I also think she chose this based on the fact that houses around here are fairly spaced out, it could have also been the garden space. I know from the pictures there's a large backyard full of space for any projects she might want to do. With a white exterior and a soft beige roof I was amazed no one else snatched this house.
My thoughts were stopped as Alina squeezed onto my arm tighter as we followed the path to the house,"I told you not to wear heels today."I held onto her, unsure if the path might be slippery.
"I know but I had this meeting with Forthward and I wanted to match his height,"I look up to her, finding that spark I get whenever I look at the sunrise.
"That's the real reason?", She looks down at me then with the smile she's had on since we've arrived here making me feel whole.
"Amongst other things, yes shortcakes.", I pinch her side as we'd already made it to the front door bending down to get the key that the owner left for us.
I let her do the honors following as she walks in. It was much more spacious than I thought , being the size of my own apartment with the addition of another room. I didn't understand why she wanted a three bedroom house but if it's what she wants I made it happen.
With the kitchen and living room attached there was only a small space for a dining table amongst the dark wood floor. And it was so heavenly quiet I could only hear her soft gasps as she searched the house and her heels.
I could imagine her here unlike the big house. I could see me and her lounging around or watching her fill up the backyard with various plants. I've already imagined the future between us several times but this actually puts it into reality.
There was one bedroom connected to the living room with a bathroom which must be the master bedroom. And the two other rooms were down a hall to the right. I believe there's a pantry in the kitchen and a storage space somewhere around here. I was about to go looking for myself until my woman came around the corner smiling.
"So I can only guess you love this place.", She nods eagerly slowly but surely comes to me as she still inspects the place.
"How fast can I put a payment down.", I pulled out my phone to check the time and about to call the owner before it's snatched away from me. She was smiling deviously as she headed in away from me again but this time I followed her.
"I'm gonna call the owner when I get back to the office and get my phone back to see what the next steps are.""Do you like it?"She looks back at me as we enter the master bedroom and it looks beautiful with the natural sunlight from the windows. There isn't any furniture in the house but it sure doesn't need any to sell itself.
"I'm not the one buying this place Alina."
"Will you just do me this favor of answering the question, love.", From the window in which she stood she looked towards me as if this question was a deal breaker. She leaves that position making her way to me and I answer truthfully with her gaze on me.
"Of course I do. Even the kitchen's stove is nice and seeing how you'll barely be using anything in the kitchen, my input on that matters."
She just stares for a moment before sighing into a kiss," I guess you're right but that's the only time I'll admit it."
"So you've said before.", She starts to back me up into a wall kissing me again then down onto my chin.
"God, I love you shortcakes.", I laugh as she purposely bites on a sensitive part of my neck and I pull my leg between hers to reciprocate.
"I love you too.", I pulled her back up and onto my lips knowing we could end up doing it in a place that's not even hers yet. Plus didn't we have to be somewhere?," Oh dammit Alina we're late again."
