~~UV's POV~~
New year's eve. The perfect time to commit a crime. For the past few months I have been researching for the different Oni masks until it was brought to my attention that one was safely kept on the highest floor of Borg Tower.
Now that everyone was distracted and it was clear that the ninja were also going to be celebrating, I took the opportunity to launch my plan into action. Mr. E was now leading a group of 5 across the streets and into Borg Tower.
While I sneak into the palace and prepare for my next attack just in case the first plan was unsuccessful. I, too, had brought my share of troops and used them to keep guard. I pulled out a pair of gardeners clothes out of my backpack and quickly placed them over my own. I had managed to sneak in before and I knew I could do it again. With the Sons of Garmadon in charge of knocking out the guards, it was up to me to continue the plan.
The second Oni mask, the mask of deception, was located inside the palace. And since the Princess had refused to help me out, I made sure she was going to regret that choice.
"Quiet One, we are in position." One of my spies called through our communicators and prepared my backpack. I had to make sure I wouldn't shake it.
"Copy that. I'm going in." I responded and proceeded to scale the palace walls.
I looked to my left and right for the members of our gang to give me signals. Once I was informed the coast was clear, I jumped down and began to act natural. I had to find the perfect place for my plan and staying outside was not going to be helpful.
"I need a distraction. There's nothing out here!" I whisper-yelled through my headset.
"We're on it."
"Hey! What are you doing here?" I heard one of the guard's state from outside the walls and I took my chance to slip inside the palace.
It was a magnificent place. There were pillars of gold and whole place was decorated to elegance. I had no time to be admiring the palace but I couldn't help myself. It was huge from the inside. I wonder why Harumi hates this place so much, it's perfect.
If there was one thing I knew, places like this have libraries and if I can find one, then my plan will be complete. I ducked behind a pillar as a pair of guards patrolled the corridor.
Each hallway was similar to the last. Why can't this place put up any signs?! I sighed and continued my search. I had already reached the second floor and was about to give up my search, that was until I caught a glimpse of something outside the window. Or perhaps, someone.
I watched as a figure, who was wearing green robes, walked through the garden with their arms behind their back. Why would anyone wander this place at this hour? I ran towards the nearest room I could find and entered the balcony.
It was a man. A very old man, I might add. He was walking towards a huge pair of rocks before looking around to check if anyone was watching. I ducked under ledge when he turned to my direction and stayed still.
Before my eyes opened a secret passageway as the old man walked inside. Bingo! I knew it was dangerous to go in there when he was still inside but I'm confident I could tackle him. I jumped down the ledge and hid behind some bushes before entering the same place he went through.
"My, my. What do we have here?" I smirked at the sight of three narrow corridors. There was a light at the end of one of them while the other two were dark as night.
I ran towards the one on the left placed my bag down to take out vials of concentrated explosion or blast-zap. Mr. E had managed to create just enough to rig the palace to explode and I was careful not to drop one.
