~~Ultra Violet's POV~~

"Are you sure we are heading the right way?" Killow asked from his huge bike. I was honestly getting sick of all the doubt they had on me.

"The bug traced them over Primeval's Eye and with Harumi showing them the map, they should be here somewhere." I explained for the 3rd time today. I revved the engine of my bike as I looked out the cliff we were on.

After planting the bug on Zane, we immediately followed the bounty wherever they went. We reached the edge of Primeval's eye a few days before the crash. I watched triumphantly when I saw it fall into the forest.

If Harumi were to survive, she wouldn't last long in this jungle.

"Um, but what about the others who went?" Another voice of doubt. I really had to resist the urge to throw them off here right now.

"And what do you think I'll do to you?" When I was answered by silence, I continued. "It's much, much worse."

"Y-yes, ma'am."

I could still see their fear by the way their bodies tensed up as we drove through the jungle. Fear is irrational. Especially when it just holds you back from accomplishing something greater.

"We are meeting with the princess at the temple. But first, find the ninja." I commanded. This was going to be fun.

~~Harumi's POV~~

I opened my eyes to find myself completely submerged underwater. I used my arms and legs to swim up and immediately gasped for air as I reached the surface.

"Lloyd? Lloyd!" I called out when I realized I was the only one who made it up.

The water splashed from beside me and revealed a familiar mop of golden blond hair.

"Rumi!" Lloyd yelled after a coughing fit.

"I'm here. Are you okay?"

"I've been better."

We both swam to the shore and I immediately laid down on the ground to catch my breath. There were days I would have enjoyed this but I was too tired to even care right now.

"Rumi, we made it." Lloyd stated from beside me. He was sat up, his hair dripping small droplets of water, and his gi was soaked which made his muscles pop out.

I averted my eyes and tried to hide the blush on my cheeks. Why does he have to be so attractive?

"Rumi?" He turned around which made things worse. I could practically see the outline of his 6-pack sticking out of his gi.

"Hm?" I hummed since I was too busy staring. I tried to pull my eyes away but I couldn't.

"Are you okay?" He tilted his head which made me shift my gaze to meet his eyes.

"Y-yeah."

"You're blushing."

"No I'm not." I pressed my cold, wet hands to my cheeks to try and cool them off.

He got up to bend down in front of me and poke my cheeks which made me turn redder than I should.

"Come on, let's get going." Lloyd chuckled and helped me up. That was when I realized the Oni temple was right behind the waterfall.

I felt a pit form in my stomach. I shouldn't be doing this.

We entered through the mouth of the cave which was formed like an Oni mask. Inside, there were different pillars on the floor but the gap was so wide it could lead to a very dangerous fall.
