~~Harumi's POV~~
I wrapped Lloyd's arm around my shoulders and immediately broke out into a run the second I saw that crab-like creature jump out of the water.
"It must have followed us here." Lloyd coughed from my side and I guided him towards a platform at the center of the lake.
"Please, stay put. You're too injured to fight." I pleaded as I hid him behind a pillar.
"Nothing I can't handle, Rumi." He insisted but I didn't miss the wince he did when he moved his arm.
"I don't want this to be the last time I'm ever going to see you. So please, stay here, Greenie."
He smiled at that and I could see a hint of redness tint his cheeks.
Taking a step back and hiding his hand behind his back, he responded with, "Alright."
"Thank you." I went to kiss his cheek before running beside Nya and Cole to prepare for a battle I knew was happening.
I was surprised to see the Sons of Garmadon also prepare for battle. Knowing them, they would have taken off the first chance they got.
"What is that?" A big man from the SOG asked as the creature circled us through the water.
It was quiet at first. Too quiet. With only the sounds of the water splashing every now and then entering my ears. My heart pounded with fear as I clung onto the sword I brought with me the night the bounty fell.
Everyone had their weapons ready and it would have been just as easy to attack Ultra Violet right now and take back the masks. But my thoughts raced back to Lloyd. He could get caught up in the fight or something worse.
I was pulled away from my thoughts when the crab-like creature jumped out of the water from behind me. I immediately went to take cover with the rest of the ninja and ran over to Lloyd.
"Are you okay? What's happening?" He was already starting to check me for injuries while panicking.
"I'm fine, Greenie." I shielded his head as more rocks flew in our direction.
"I can help!"
"I'm sorry. But this time, you're the one who needs to hide."
I ran back into the battle and began striking the crab with my sword while dodging its attacks. I've had enough training with Nya and Pixal to know exactly how to protect myself. All I need to do is show them what I'm capable of.
No matter how many times I tried to hit the crab with my sword, its shell was tougher than my weapon and it only left scratches on its body. It was only a matter of time before the SOG used the masks to help out. Their nindroid grew two more arms from the mask of vengeance while the big man from earlier used the mask of deception to make some rocks float.
The ninja had decided to make the fight even by using their spinjitzu. It was a move I was never able to master so I ran off to find Pixal.
"Not so fast. You're coming with me." I felt a hand roughly tug on my shoulder and I saw Ultra Violet holding up a weapon to my face.
"I'm not going anywhere!" I protested and held up my sword in front of her as well.
"Killow, bring the princess." With her simple command, a strong pair of hands locked on my arms which made me drop my sword as I was lifted off the ground.
"Lloyd!" I yelled to try and get his attention.
"Harumi!" He immediately responded and ran towards my direction. I tried to get out of Killow's grip but he was stronger than I expected.
