Chapter 2

                    ***Time Skip***
     Sadie's POV
   I sprinted down the halls as I realized I was late for History. I slowed down my pace, straighting out of shirt and hair before stepping into the classroom.

   Thankfully the teacher, Mr.Jason, wasn't there. I sat down in my usual seat which was infront of Leo. He was whispering something to Percy.

   Did I mention Leo was my super secret crush? That boy messed with my teenage girl hormones. He was too nice for his own good. He always had the perfect comeback, and he could make anyone laugh in the matter of seconds. To top that off, the guy is attractive! One minute he goes from smiling like a little baby to looking like he's about to eye rape someone. Why is he like this?

   Mr.Jason finally arrived 10 minutes after class started. He started explaining a project we had to work on, but I couldn't pay attention. My eyes were focused on the board, but my mind was constantly drifting to other things.

   Rumours were going around that Leo was going to ask Charolette. It's not like I care, but Charolette?! The girl radiates hoe! Was I pissed? A bit, but I can't control this. Leo and I were friends, but we rarely talked. He was always swarmed with his group of "popular" friends.

   Sophie was close friends with Leo, but what was I supposed to do? Ask her to set us up? She doesn't even know I like him!

   And that, was another problem. I'm too scared to tell anyone about my stupid love. I'm not the type to fall for people easily, so it's hella awkward.

   "Sadie...Sadie!" the angry voice of my teacher called.

   Whoops.

   "Yes?" I asked, sitting up straight.

   "Do you know the assignment?"

   "Of course," I chirped, lying through a smile.

   He shook his head and sighed. I rolled my eyes, and slumped back down in my seat.

   "Next time pay attention, and don't daze off into a fantasy world with your prince" he snapped.

   I choked on nothing as my face heated up. What the hell?! Is he allowed to say that?!

   "Your partner will explain it to you, and your partner will be...." Mr.Jason scanned the classroom, but stopped when he found his target. A small smirk played on his lips. "Leo."

   Damn that evil old man.

   I grabbed my books and took deep breaths, calming myself.

   Don't be an idiot. Don't be an idiot.

   I sat in Percy's desk, and asked Leo what the assignment was. He started explaining it, but his voice was drown out. I studied his peachy lips as he spoke. He would occasionaly run his tongue over them. His eyes sparkled blue like the ocean. My gaze trailed back down to his lips, then to his exposed collar bone.

   Focus Angelo.

   "Do you get what we have to do?" his question came at me like a bullet.

   I cursed under my breath, and looked away. "Yeah, thanks."

   After rereading the assignment page 3 times, I finally got the jist of the assignment. We had to make a presentation about the history of a famous hero. We got to choose who. Leo and I started our research.

   I pushed aside the nervous feeling I had, and I was finally getting pretty comfortable around him. I spoke without studdering, and I didn't hesitate to make my stupid, corny dad jokes. To my luck, Leo laughed at all of them and even put in some of his own.

   At times he would look stressed and confused for unknown reasons, but overall History was fun. Halfway through, Leo's mood completely changed and he was happier. He still didn't do much work because he kept talking to Percy.

   After History was lunch. Thank god! I was starving. I slide down beside Sophie at the table we normally sat at.

   "Ughh I'm so pissed!" I faked annoyance.

   I didn't want them to know that I liked him...yet.

   "What?" Sophie asked, laughing.

   "I was partners with Leo for a project!" I exclaimed and let out a frusterated sigh.

   "And.....?"

   "And what?"

   "You were his partner, big deal. He's nice." Sasha raised an eyebrow..

   "But I did most of the work! He was talking to Percy the whole time!" I exclaimed.

   Sophie and Sasha shot each other a knowing look. I rolled my eyes, and took a bite out of my poutine.

   Sophie and Sasha glanced at Bella apologetically. All Bella did was sigh in dissapointment. She didn't talk this whole time. What happened?

Sorry if this chapter was boring. To be honest I found this chapter REALLY boring, but whatever. Anyways, I hope you guys liked it!
