Chapter 24

Sadie's POV
" What's wrong Sadie? " Sophie asked me for the third time today.

" Nothing " I replied.

" We're not stupid Sadie " Sasha said in an unimpressed tone.

" Are you thinking about what Leo was gonna ask you? " Sophie said.

" No " I simply said.

" It's just.....I have to buy a different dress because Bella has the same one as me, but it's gonna be so hard! Ugh! " I complained.

I looked up and saw Sophie and Sasha smiling at me.

" What? " I asked while raising an eyebrow.

" You don't have to worry about the dress.... I asked Dave to buy a different dress for Bella and he insisted her to wear it and well...it worked! " Sophie exclaimed happily.

My mouth hung open. Sophie always goes through so much trouble just to make me happy honestly she is amazing.

" Omg Sophie really?!? " I questioned.

" Yup! " Sophie sang.

" Awww Sophie thank you so much! " I said.

" You're welcome, but you should really be thanking Dave " she said modestly.

" Oh where is he? " I asked eagerly.

" Um probably still in class he should be here soon though " Sophie imformed.

Seconds later Dave snuck up on Sophie and hugged her from behind. This caused Sophie to jump. She turned and around and shot Dave a " This again?! I thought we went over this!? " look. Dave smirked then sat down beside Sophie and put his head on her shoulder. This caused me to smile. Dave acts to cute towards Sophie! Sophie smiled and rested her head on his.

" Awwww! " Sasha and I exclaimed while we clapped out hands together in excitment.

" Shush " Sophie hissed then stuck her toung out.

" I'm so tired " Dave mumbled in a sleepy voice.

" Well that's what you get for talking to Sophie on the phone all night! " Sasha exclaimed.

" It was not all night! It was only till like 1 or 2 am! " Sophie defeneded.

" Eh whatever " Sasha smirked.

" Oh and thanks so much for the dress thing Dave! " I chirped.

He kept his eyes closed and flashed a huge grin.

" Mmm you're welcome..... " he mumbled sleepily.

*** Time Skip *** ( right after school )

I quickly grabbed my books and my bag from the locker and hurried down the hall. I wanted to get home as quickly as I could so I could call Leo. Well I was going to try....as long as I dont chicken out then everything will be fine! I walked down the street with a bunch of thoughts clouding my mind.

What was Leo gonna tell me? Why did he look so nervous and uneasy when he was trying to tell me? Why wasn't he here today?

" Ugh you're so distgusting! " an angery voice spat. I turned around and was making eye contact with a really angery Charrolette.

" What did I even do? " I asked, annoyed.

" Oh shut up you know what you did! "

" No actually I don't....... "

" Stop acting all innocent! Why are you going to the dance with my boyfriend?!? "

" Ummm you mean EX boyfriend.... " I corrected. A fire blazed in Charrolette's eyes. Oh wow I sure made her mad..........

" Ugh! Shut up! I don't care if we broke up you still don't have the right to go with him! How could you even ask him to the dance like seriosuly are you crazy?!? " Charrolette spat.

" Actually Charrolette I'm the one who asked Sadie to the dance " a familier voice said from behind me.

I turned around and gave Leo a huge smile.

" Omg I can't believe you Leo! I still love you and you're doing this to me!? Are you trying to make me jealous?!? " Charrolette questioned with tears in her eyes.

" Charrolette we broke up a long time ago and I'm sorry but I have no lovey feelings towards you so why would I be trying to make you jealous? " Leo said confidently.

" Leo I love you, okay?!? " Charrolette exclaimed.

" Charrolette enough! I asked Sadie to the dance because we are friends! Charrolette I'm sorry but I don't like you the way you like me....... "

" Leo.......okay if this is what you want then fine...bye " Charrolette said in a shakey voice and then turned around and started to walk away.

Leo grabbed her wrist and pulled her into a hug.

" Charrolette I'm really sorry I brought you so much pain....I love you but as a friend a really good friend " Leo mumbled.

" It's okay Leo...I shouldn't believe that we will be together forever...... " Charolette said then broke the hug and ran away.

Leo stared off in the distance.

" Um Leo....... "

" Yeah? "

" Thank you " I said quietly. Leo said nothing.
