Sadie's POV
Bella has been acting strange. She's been all lost in thought and moping around, but whenever someone mentions Leo she gets interested in the conversation. She's also been very fidgity, and moody.
I had an uneasy feeling that Sophie, Sasha, and Bella were hiding something from me, but what? We're all best friends, what would they possibly hide from me? And why?!
The bell at the end if the day finally rang releasing me from this hell-uh school. I slide my phone into my back pocket and picked up my books as I pushed my chair in with my foot. I glanced over at Leo who was leaving the classroom. I sighed and shook my head. This boy was driving me crazy.
We had 3 out of 4 classes together this semester which meant I got to see his face for half the day, not to mention we have the same lunch! Yes I'm happy, but it's also bringing me down. I have so many perfect opportunities to talk to him, but I can never bring myself to do it.
I shoved my binders into my bag, and closed my locker. As I turned to make my way outside I saw my three suspicious friends talking by Bella's locker. Finally noticing me staring, Sophie grinned and waved at me to come over.
"I am interrupting?" I laughed.
"Yes." Sasha deadpanned. "Just kidding! We were just saying how we wanted to go to the mall right now because Sophie had to get a dress for some dinner she's going to with a family friend."
"Okay! Is there gonna be a cute boy?" I smirked.
"Probably. If there is I'll hook you guys up," she gave me a thumbs up.
The four of us made our way to the mall, which was about a 20 minute walk from our school. After looking around for a solid 45 minutes we found Sophie a dress which would compliment her figure and skin nicely.
Who knew shopping could make someone so tired. Some good poutine was all that came to my mind. We all agreed on getting some food, and made our way to the food court.
Just as we finished our food, we were interrupted by Sophie's long term crush. Percy Rivenna.
He had blonde hair which seemed to be getting darker everyday, and tanned skin. His eyes were a beautiful mix of shades of green and brown - creating a swirl of hazel. He was definetely on the taller side of boys in our school, and was the typical athletic-popular-jock type. It's weird though, the guy's never had a girlfriend.
Weird as it sounds, Percy, Sophie, a boy named Pablo, and I used to be best friends. We always had each other's backs until high school came around. Pablo moved, and that split us up. Of course Sophie and I remained friends, but Percy drifted towards the crowd of "popular" people. Throughout all of this Sophie's had a huge crush on our childhood friend, and it still remained to this day.
Percy's eyes fell on Sophie as a small smile formed. He averted his eyes as the dark hair girl looked up at him.
"Percy...uh hey." Sophie awkwardly smiled, confused as to why he was here.
"Is anyone up for some spying?" He grinned cheekily.
"On who?" I asked.
"Leo. He said he has business to attend to, and forced me to leave."
"Shouldn't you give him privacy?"
"Oh please. Between the two of us, we have no privacy."
"Alright then. Let's go," Sophie got up, and almost lost her balance as Percy grabbed her hand and pulled her towards the fountain area.
I smirked as I saw her face heat up. Can they date already?
