Sadie's POV
" Seriously?!? " Leo and I exclaimed.

" Dave you seriously letting Bella over power you like that?!? " Leo exclaimed.

" Dave why didn't you just tell Sophie?!? She would have been careful and she wouldn't be mentally hurt! " I said.

" I didn't know what to do! " Dave exclaimed.

Sophie was silent this whole time. Everyones eyes landed on her.

" What? " she asked.

" Well??? " Dave said.

" Wait so Bella threatened you by saying if you didn't go to the dance with her she would hurt me? " Sophie said in a confused tone.

" She said that first, but then I said that I would protect you. Then she said she would make up a lie about me cheating and tell you. She also said you would believe anything she says " Dave explained one more time.

Sophie was silent. She put her head down, shook it, then started to laugh. I was confused and I saw the same expression on the 2 boys faces.

" Awww Dave you can be so adorable sometimes! I would obviously believe you! You should have told me! " Sophie exclaimed.

Dave expression lightened up and he looked less tensed.

" I was going to, but then she said if I told you she would tell everyone...... " Dave slowly said.

Sophie's eyes widened. She must have instantly knew what he was talking about. Me and Leo on the other hand were clueless.

" What is she going to tell?!? " I asked.

" Ohhhh that....I'll tell you later Sadie. Is it okay if I tell her? " Leo asked Dave. Dave nodded.

I let out a frusterated sigh then rolled my eyes.

" Dave go with her to the dance, but please don't do anything " Sophie finally said.

" I was planning on telling her I wasn't going to go with her " Dave said.

" No....go with her please....I don't want everyone to know and I know you don't either " Sophie said gently.

Ugh! What's this thing they don't want other
people to know about?!?

" Honestly I don't care " Dave sighed.

" No please Dave! I'm fine with it! " Sophie exclaimed with tears in her eyes.

What is going on?!?! Dave hugged Sophie and comforted her.

" Umm well I guess I should go...... " I trailed off.

" No it's fine stay " Dave said. I shrugged then sat in the floor beside Leo.

" Dave please go with Bella " Sophie pleaded.

" No I'm going to go with you "

" Dave I'm serious please for my sake "

" Fine....but I'm not dancing with her " Dave finally gave in. Sophie smiled....a smile I knew too well.....a fake smile..... She then hugged Dave.

" I have a crap load of homework to do so I think I'm gonna head home " I said then stood up and stretched.

" Yah I think I'm going to go too " Leo said then stood beside me.

" Alright bye " Dave and Sophie said

" Um actually can I talk to you Leo for like a minute? " Dave asked.

" Uhhhh sure " Leo answered.

" I'll wait in the hallway byeeee " I said then left.

Leo's POV
" Soooooo...... " I trialed off.

Dave and Sophie smirked at me.

" When are you going to do it? " Sophie asked.

" Do what? " I asked.

" You know what we mean " Dave said. I thought for a minute.

" Ohhhhh that.....um I dont know...soon? " I said

" Good! " they both exclaimed. I rolled my eyes, laughed, then said bye and left the room.

As Sadie and I were walking home I couldn't stop thinking about what Sophie and Dave asked me.

" Um so what was the thing Bella said she would tell everyone? " Sadie asked, innocently.

" Oh thats...well basically you know how Dave's parents own a big successful company right? " Leo started. I nodded.

" And well Dave's parents are not strict, but they expect so much from him. They call Dave worthless and usless. Like they still love him, but they want him to be as successful as them and stuff. Dave feels like they don't love him sometimes, and he feels so worthless like he can't do anything, so Sophie was going to seceretly tutor him and stuff " Leo explained.

Sadie's POV
I was so much shock. Omg I can't believe Dave has had such a hard life.

" Wait but isn't Dave already really smart? " I asked.

" Yeah, but his parents don't think that. And so Bella said she would tell the school who his parents are and like she would tell everyone what Dave has been through " Leo finished.

I was speechless. How could Bella be so cruel? Poor Dave! It's a good thing he has someone like Sophie to comfort and help him. I was one of the few people to know who Dave's parents were. Wow I can't believe Bella...........

Leo's POV
After I told Sadie what happened she was quiet. I feel so bad for Dave. He is been through so much and he is my best friend. We are literally like brothers I hate seeing him like this.

The same thought can making it's way into my brain. When am I going to do it?.......
