Chapter 19

Sadie's POV
" There must be a reason why Dave is going with Bella " Leo stated while resting his chin on his hand.

" When it was their 1 month anniversary thing Dave canceled because he said something came up..... "

" Wait....so you're thinking that Bella has something to do with Dave ditching? " Leo questioned. I nodded.

Leo and I have been trying for days now to figure out what's been going on with Dave. He has harldey been talking talking to Sophie, and then suddenly he goes says he is going to go to the dance with Bella?!? Like no somethings up.

" You don't think....... " Leo started

" No way...... "

" DAVE IS CHEATING ON SOPHIE! " Leo and I exclaimed at the same time. Then Leo shook his head.

" Nah....Dave has been my best friend for 13 years I know him really well. He would never cheat on someone especially Sophie " Leo explained.

" Then whats going on? " I asked. Leo shrugged.

These past few days me and Leo have been hanging out A LOT. Sophie hasn't been to school for the past 2 days which is not like her. She never let's stuff like this stop her from attending classes. Me and Leo were planning to visit and check up on her later today. After school Leo and I stopped by the park where we currently are now.

" I think Bella did something " I said, finally coming to a conclusion.

" Uhh no offense Sadie, but umm we already knew she did something..... " Leo said as sweetly as he could.

" No! I mean like maybe she bribed Dave to take her to the dance or maybe like even threatened him.......... " I explained. Leo's eyes widended.

" You might be on to something Angelo ". I blushed. Everytime Leo calls me by my last name I can't help but blush.

" Wait but how would Bella black mail Dave? " Leo added, thinking hard.

" Ummm......OH I KNOW! Well Sophie is really important to Dave so maybe she was threatening to hurt her " I said.

" OH GOD I THINK YOU MIGHT BE ON TO SOMETHING! " Leo exclaimed.

" I never knew Bella could get over people that fast " he added. I nodded in agreement.

" Should we tell Sophie? " I asked.

" Yes, but first we have to make sure we know for like 100%. Because we can't get her hopes up "
" Right...so we talk to Dave??? " I said, confused.

" Exactly. " Leo confirmed. I nodded then jumped off the swing, Leo followed. Leo led the way to Dave's house.

I knocked on the door and waited. No one answered. I knocked harder. Still no answer. I sighed then said......

" I DON'T CARE IF YOUR IN THE SHOWER IN COMING IN DAVE! ".

I took out a bobby pin and stoved it in the lock. Leo smirked.

" What? " I asked.

" You're picking a lock? "

" Yes, is something wrong with that? " I raised and eyebrow.

" No I never said anything was wrong with it..... " Leo's smirk widended. I rolled my eyes.

There was a small " click " sound, and I knew it worked. I grabbed the door nob and opened the door.

" I'M COMING UPSTAIRS " I yelled. Leo laughed. We climed up the stairs and through Dave's room door open.

Sitting on Dave's bed was Sophie! And across from her sitting on a spiney chair was Dave.

" SOPHIE?!? " Leo and I exclaimed in unison. She shot us a quilty smile.

" Umm ever heard of knocking? " Dave sais0d in an annoyed tone.

" Ever heard of we were knocking and no one answered because he was too busy making his girlfriend cry? " I said then raised an eyebrow.

" I wasn't making her cry! " Dave exclaimed.

" Mmhmm whatevs " I said in a jokey way.

" Anyway Sophie why are you here? Like not in a mean way I just thought you were mad at Dave " Leo said.

" Well I wasn't planning on coming, but Dave called me and said it was really important so yeah...... " she explained.

" And what exactly was the important thing? " I questioned.

" Well I WAS going to tell Sophie right now, but two people walked in " Dave said.

" Oh, well might as well tell us! " I exclaimed.

Dave sighed then motioned for us to sit down. I sat beside Sophie and Leo sat on his beanbag chair.

" Okay so what did you have to tell me? " Sophie asked. I listened closely.

" Well....... " Dave began.

Hello :p Lol I found this chapter really adorable! Like at the begining when Leo and Sadie were talking I found that moment really cute

Do you guys like this story so far? Oh and the main plot is true, but some of the details arn't.
