It was a couple of days after the party and we were all, minus Alastair, located in a swampy area with the rest of the class dressed in a beige color short jumpsuits with brown boots. Today's class was with Mr. Palladium an elf that was quite dashing with brown hair and pointy ears.

"So, as I was saying today's exercise will be rather difficult." He started off before being cut off by a girl saying that a mosquito bit her in the leg and showing him, making him fluster and start becoming nervous. This caused some girls to start giggling and laughing at the professor.

"Poor professor they shouldn't give him such a hard time." Bloom whispered to Stella before said girl just saying that he should be more confident to gain respect.

"A good fairy must be able to listen to what nature tells us." Mr. Palladium gathered his bearings before explaining the exercise. "This is designed to put your skills to the test. Now you've all been put into groups so we're ready to begin."

"You have three hours to get out of Black-Mud swamp and reach the clearing in the middle of Gloomy-Wood Forest without using magic. Remember listen carefully to the voice of nature and follow its advice" The professor explained before bursting into gentle light and disappearing surprising us all.

"Why didn't Alastair come?" Musa asked me curious on why my companion didn't want to appear today.

"He doesn't like mud." I said simply before Flora cut in.

"Right, his white fur would get all dirty and it would be difficult to get that out." Flora said.

Starting to walk in a direction we made it to the edge of land and the start of swamp, where we got in. I felt beneath my boots the slimy texture of the ground making me slightly unbalanced before regaining my balance once again.

"Ugh, this place is ew. Totally disgusting." Stella said trying to move in the swamp.

"Oh yes dear, all this mud is so very inconvenient." Musa teased Stella making us all laugh.

"I don't know if you realize it, but we're knee-deep in what I would refer to a problematic mud puddle." Tecna said pointing out the bubbles that were starting to form all around us. "Alright you guys, take cover. I'll handle it." she ordered us before raising her hands as a green glow came from them.

"I suggest you don't." I said looking at the bubbles listening as the forest tells me not to touch those.

"That's right. We have to listen to nature. I smell something, what is it?" Bloom said smelling the air of the hidden odor that lies bellow the stench of swamp.

"He said listen not smell." Stella said, but followed in Bloom's footsteps.

"It's gas." I said starting to make my way out of the swamp at the other side.

"Let's get out of here!" Musa exclaimed rushing behind me with the others following suit.

Running onto the bank and hiding behind a log Bloom grabbed a branch before throwing it at one of the bubbles, to see what happens. The branch landed on a bubble popping it making the gas inside the bubble to leak out in a column.

"A single spark, and we'd have been toast my friend." Bloom said looking towards Tecna.

"Oh yes, we took a big risk." Flora said looking back towards the swamp worriedly.

"Especially you Tecna, I would have sent you my dressmaker's bill." Stella said lightning up the mood by making us all laugh.

Starting to walk again to our destination we heard a loud sound before spotting an aircraft starting to crash a distance from us, but still nearby.
