Crawling with shadow creatures, Darkar's underground castle was an ominous place. Filled to the brim with snarling shadow beasts and continuous darkness. Though hidden in one of his cells a hooded figure laid prisoner. With chains attached to their wrists and ankles, the indigo-colored cloak hid the person's features along with the iron plate mask attached to their face.
The person struggled moving side to side having hope that one day these chains will break, but today they would not. Lifting one of his hands a weak golden glow appeared from it before it disappeared.
"My magic power might be restrained by your iron mask Darkar, but sooner or later I'll find a way out of your dungeon." The person mumbled to themselves sagging back into their sitting position.
(Pixie Village)
No longer covered in snow and with no pixies being blocks of ice, the village was doing better, but surely not thriving.
"Dextia, what's wrong with the tree of life?" A pixie asked their queen curiously as they all watched the center flower wilt in front of them.
"I'm not sure." The queen answered worriedly.
"You know, it hasn't been looking well ever since it was attacked by that evil ice witch." The same orange haired pixie stated sharing everyone's worry.
"Let's not worry. Perhaps it can be healed." Dextia reassured her, looking away from the wilting flower.
"Thanks for cheering me up Glim, but it was all my fault. I'm the one who led Icy to the village." Livy whimpered, feeling shame creep onto her as her fellow pixie babbled back to her. "Yeah, I know I saved the village, but now Darkar has the Codex and that's even worse." The blonde sighed out not noticing that Glim's attention was elsewhere.
Soon two Red Fountain aircrafts flew over them before they landed on a clearing a couple of feet from the village.
"The specialists are here! They probably come to punish me." Libby whimpered terrified.
Soon they see Flora, Aisha, Alastair, Nakoa, Sky, Brandon, and Helia dismount the vehicles with the sick pixies in their arms.
"Wait. The bonded pixies all sound sick." The messenger pixie states noticing how all the pixies were sneezing continuously. "Come on Glim, let's go see what's going on." She declared placing her paper board on the ground and mounting it with her fellow pixie as they flew towards the group.
Nearing the group, they noticed how the pixies' breath were labored.
"Aisha, Alastair, Flora; what's the matter? Oh my, are you guys okay?!" Libby asked worriedly
"Do we look it?" Digit retaliated before she sneezed.
"We flew into a cloud of spores, which got us really sick." Chatta informed as Thiala nuzzled into Alastair's mane for comfort before she sneezed.
"We're going to need to collect a few leaves from the tree of life to brew some healing tea." Aisha informed as Glim went to look over the sick pixies.
"So, you're not here to punish me?" The messenger pixie asked shamefully. "Even though I lost the Codex?" She continued with her gaze downwards.
"Oh Livy, of course not. We all know you were just trying to save the village." Flora comforted taking the sad pixie into her arms.
"And there is absolutely no way that Musa." Tune started before her follow pixies started adding in.
"Or Tecna." Digit.
"Or Zariel." Thiala.
"Or Bloom." Lockette.
"Or Stella." Amore.
