On our way to Alfea, the rhythmic thumping of Alastair's steps was heard along with the thunder and cries of the creatures that were forming on the path. The raging wind blew on our faces as we traveled. Suddenly, a creature formed in front of us making Alastair let out a roar launching supersonic waves onto the creature making it explode.

"It's best if we take a break." I told Alastair noting his heavier breaths.

"We... must reach... Alfea." The feline stated through breaths continuing his run.

"Zari's right. We won't be able to reach if you're tired." Nakoa inputted making the lion huff.

"I'm... fine." Alastair growled in between huffs.

"No, you're not. Tìftang si!" I ordered, making the feline screech to a halt.

"Did you just?!" Alastair asked as I jumped off his back with Nakoa following behind.

"I did! Because you need rest!" I yelled back glaring at the feline.

"I said... I'm fine!" Alastair argued back, catching his breath. "Get on so we can get to Alfea faster. We don't know what the witches are up to. They could be attacking the school right now!" The feline argued with me, showing us his back to get on.

"We won't reach if you're tired bud." Nakoa interrupted petting Alastair's mane, stopping me from saying anything else as I just huffed and crossed my arms.

"Fine." The feline agreed huffing and looking in the other direction as Nakoa released a sigh at our behavior and starting to walk through the forest in search of a place to lay low.

......(At Alfea) ......

Tensions were high at the school, though an attack already passed the wait for the next is what got to most people. Not knowing when they would be hit after kept people on their toes with the specialist patrolling the area in groups, the fairies sticking together with their dormmates, the Phrixus warriors and hunters taking care of their partners and weapons, and the teachers sticking together trying to form a plan while the King of Phrixus with his partner stuck with them to remain in the loop.

"We might have won this battle, but I'm afraid the next attack will be much more violent." Headmistress Faragonda stated towards Codatorta, Saladin, Tynan, and King Aziz as they were in the school's courtyard watching over their people.

"That is how war normally goes." Zariel's father inputted crossing his arms.

"And we still haven't heard anything from the kids at Cloud Tower." Saladin worried letting out a sigh.

"I can't believe this is happening." Codatorta sighed out. "What will become of Magix?"

"Things happen at the most unexpected times." Zariel's father agreed.

"Now is not the time to ask these questions. Let's focus on the task at hand." Faragonda interrupted the two bringing the attention back to her. "We must find a way to respond more quickly and efficiently to their assaults."

"We can't lose this war. It would be tragic." Codatorta worried before a voice cried out from the students gaining their attention.

"Mrs. Faragonda! Mrs. Faragonda! We've detected a temporal distortion!" Flora exclaimed worriedly, running towards the adults and stopping in front of them to catch her breath.

"Over there! Right next to the well!" Musa informed, pointing towards the well in the middle of the courtyard.

"Oh, thank goodness the kids are back! And Griffin and her students are with them." Faragonda sighed out in relief seeing the place in front of the well distort reality and the said people emerge from it, though with a couple people missing. "This is very good news!"
