It was after Mr. Wizgiz quiz that we had the meeting for agendas. With me now knowing more about what a parent-teacher meeting was we all headed to dinner where afterwards we decide to take the garden route back to our dorm.
"The parent-teacher meetings are coming up soon time flies, doesn't it?" Bloom asked us looking between all of us.
"It'll be nice to see my parents together again." Stella giggled out in excitement.
"Together or not. At least you get to see your parents. Sadly, these meetings bring no music to my ears." Musa said with a sigh before I see Alastair puffing up and growl.
"Alastair what's wrong?" I asked the feline as he stuck to my side while we kept walking.
"Something's wrong. It's as if Mother Nature were upset." Flora informed looking around.
"That would explain why Alastair's like this." I replied to the brunette as we carefully made our way into the building.
Passing through the darkened hallways we went through them with our guards up in case something appeared.
"Hold on." Tecna ordered as we all stopped in our tracks. "Did you hear that strange rustling noise?" The purple haired girl asked.
"Tecna it was you. You're just imagining things." Bloom replied back passing it as nothing while opening the doors to our dorm.
"I'm exhausted." Stella yawned out while walking in. "I'm going straight to bed. Never mind noises and meetings." The girl continued before I file in behind her feeling an ominous presence in the dorm.
"Alastair, remain vigilant." I ordered the feline as I see all the other girls enter their respective rooms before we entered our own. "Let's get ready for bed, shall we?" I asked the feline as he gave me a grunt in agreement and went to sit in front of our bed waiting for me to brush his mane out.
Grabbing the brush, I sat behind him starting to comb his mane making sure that no tangles were anywhere from time to time his ears would swivel in different directions appearing to track movement, but seeming to lose the target. Finished with brushing him, I got ready myself as I changed into my pajamas and brushed my hair before going into bed where Alastair laid beside me, but didn't cuddle up to me like usual.
"Night fluff." I said to the feline getting a grunt from him before letting out a sigh and drifting off to sleep.
Having slept for a couple of minutes I was startled awake by screams. Opening my eyes, I already see Alastair standing on the bed before recognizing the screams as Stella's. Jumping out of bed, I ran outside my room seeing the other girls come out of theirs before we rushed into Stella's. Seeing the blond in her bed freaked out while holding a pillow Bloom comes close to her as we all sat around her in her bed with Musa choosing to seat on the floor and Alastair sitting beside her with his head on my lap.
"Stella what happened? Why were you screaming?" Bloom asked worried.
"Um. I don't know. I was dreaming." The blonde whimpered hugging the pillow closer to her.
"Stella, you poor thing. You must have had a nightmare." Flora comforted while petting the blonde's head. "You remember what it was about?"
"No, I don't. But it was much more than just a nightmare. It was as if someone was watching me." The blonde replied back closing her eyes.
"I've said it before, there's something really strange in the air tonight." Tecna informed making me nod.
"Alastair hasn't let down his guard throughout the whole night." I replied as we watch the feline's ears swivel around.
