S.2 Chapter 26: The Phoenix Revealed

As the monster stomped towards them Aisha rushed to help Faragonda while Codatorta rushed to his feet.

"Lady Griffin, are you all right?" The Red Fountain teacher asked helping the Head witch to her feet.

"I'm fine." The witch answered being alert of the monster.

"Hurry girls, you got to go!" Faragonda warned the group.

"We've got to leave now, or it will be too late. Our future is at stake!" One of the elder pixies warned before flying down the hall with the Winx following behind them.

(Specialists)

"I've got your number." Brandon threatened, stepping back while raising his sword high.

He parries a bite from the shadow beast before hitting it with the hilt of his sword causing the monster to fall unconscious.

To his right Nako swung his whip towards a monster's leg, having it wrap around it and swung the beast off the ledge before focusing on another approaching one.

"All these monsters are doing is wasting our time!" Helia argued, taking a step back, missing his step and falling onto his back on a lower ledge.

Taking the chance, the bipedal shadow beast lunges. Extending his gloved hand strings emerge from it wrapping around the monster and shocking it into unconscious as the black-haired specialist rolled out of the way.

"Helia's right, these remnants are no threat." Sky agreed from his position on a Crow. "Let's get out of here and catch up with the girls and Alastair. They might be in trouble." He ordered, making the other specialists nod in agreement.

"Sky There's a ship at the end of the cavern, and it's one of ours." Timmy announced letting a wave of relief flood through the group.

(Darkar)

"Everything is set." The Phoenix man declared seeing Dark Zariel up on one of the standing columns while Bloom was looking at the void around the island. "It is now time to begin the ritual." He ordered, causing the two girls to start laughing evilly making him join in.

(Winx)

Running down the hall they were met with two snarling bipedal shadow monsters stalking towards them causing the group to stop in their tracks.

"We've got company!" The morphix fairy stated nervously.

"No matter how often I see them, they don't get any easier to look at." Stella grumbled disgusted.

"Let's use the Charmix!" The music fairy declared confidently.

"No!" The tech fairy denied stopping the girl.

"Why? What's wrong Tecna?" The flower fairy asked worriedly.

"If we keep using our Charmix we won't have any power left when we get to Darkar." The fuchsia haired girl warned.

"That means you girls have to use it as minimal as possible." The feline added with a nod.

"She's right, we can only use it for so long. So, what now?" Musa asked worriedly.

"I'm going to stay behind and take care of them. You guys go ahead." The tech fairy declared stepping to stand in front of the group to face against the monsters.

"But you alone?" Flora asked worriedly.

"Brains over braun. It's the logical thing to do, believe me." The fuchsia haired girl stated not taking her eyes off the two beasts.

"Tecna, you be careful, all right?" Chatta encouraged, knowing that she was right.

"I'll connect with the specialist and catch up with you soon, don't worry about me." Tecna explained getting into a fighting stance before her bonded pixie joined her.
