In her office Faragonda thought over the meeting that she had with the elder pixies that protect the pieces of the Codex. Giving them four small trinkets and told them to keep it a secret.
"These may be our best hope after all." The elder sighed out before a knock at her office doors' gained her attention. "Come in!" She called out, causing the doors to open letting us into the office.
"Good morning, Miss Faragonda. You wanted to see us?" Bloom asked as we all filed into the room and stood in front of her desk.
"Yes, we need to talk." The headmistress answered as I felt Alastair nuzzled into me for comfort. "Well, Winx, we've had a very difficult time lately, haven't we?" She sighed out making me nod at her words.
"That's an understatement if I ever heard one." Stella retaliated with a small huff.
"As you all know, Lord Darkar already has three pieces of the Codex. Now if he obtains the fourth one, his magical powers will be impossible to beat." Faragonda informed seriously.
"Oh! That'd be so awful!" Flora whimpered, clasping her hands together.
"Oh, that be so awful, then do something about it instead of just standing there complaining!" Stella mocked before throwing hurtful words towards the gentle fairy.
"Stella! Hold your tongue!" I growled to the girl angered that she took it too far.
"You're the one who's all talk Stella." Musa threw in, chastising the blonde.
"Musa, shut it!" I reprimanded the music fairy before letting out a sigh and running a hand on my face tired of this constant stupid banter between the group.
"Like you could do anything against the Trix!" The sun fairy argued with a huff.
"Enough!" I yelled as the two huffed and turned away from each other.
"As long as you fairies remain quarrelsome and divided you are useless in the struggle against Lord Darkar." Faragonda informed, making all of follow her with our eyes as she got up from her desk and looked out of her office's large windows. "In light of the situation I feel the need to take drastic actions." She declared with a sigh.
(Palladium & Avalon)
In the enchanted forest behind the school, the two teachers walked through with large cream packs on their backs for the journey.
"Are you sure you don't mind my coming uninvited?" Avalon asked worriedly walking beside the elf.
"Of course not, Avalon, it's a pleasure. Besides four eyes are better than two when looking for magic- oh! Can it be?! Yes, it's a red gilded Venus fly orchid. Very effective in hypnosis spells." The elf answered before his attention got diverted to a yellow petaled flower with purple dots adorning them.
"Hm, you don't say." The gray-haired man responded as he watched as the elf become enraptured with the flower, taking his pack off his shoulders and placing it beside him as he kneeled in front of the flower.
With a cautious finger he neared the flower, suddenly taking his appendage back as the magical flower's mouth snapped at him.
"My! What a lively one, but no matter it will soon be in my basket." Palladium declared teasing the flower before taking out a knife from his pack.
"Uh, I'll just go look around over there." Avalon remarked pointing to another path and walking towards it, away from the elf.
"Sure, now then, let's see your petals." Palladium agreed, focusing entirely on the flora in front of him.
