Being a couple of days later, the girls and I were tasked with kitchen duty. At the moment we were trying to cook a meal for the others at Alfea. At the moment we were all peeling potatoes while Alastair was outside the doors because of his fur.
"I hate doing kitchen duties, I just don't get it." Bloom said continuing to peel her potato gaining the attention of Musa and I.
"What is it that you don't get Bloom?" Musa asked confused on why she was complaining of a simple task.
"Yeah, I like cooking, it was one of the classes on Phrixus that I enjoyed very much." I said remembering how I would share what I cooked with my parents and teachers.
"Why a school for faeries can't use magic to cook dinner, it doesn't make sense" Bloom said taking off her apron and start using her magic causing her to be cast in a faint orange glow and start floating. "All you've got to do is wave the magic wand, snap your fingers, wiggle the nose a couple of times, and voila. Everything's ready without any effort." She continued making a gentle backflip before landing on the ground.
Where an abrupt opening of the door caused her to let out a gasp.
"However, home-cooked meals taste a lot better and are much healthier." The one who opened the door was the school's chef, Master Sfoglia, who overheard Bloom and reprimanded her with his thick Italian accent.
"Um, hi Master Sfoglia." Bloom said awkwardly being caught red handed.
"How's the side dish coming along?" Master Sfoglia asked looking at our progress with the potatoes.
"My potatoes are peeled." I said showing my potatoes to him.
"Great work, you are becoming a great chef." Master Sfoglia complimented looking over my potatoes before heading to Musa.
"We're almost finished sir." Musa said showing him her small and over skinned potato making him let out a gasp.
"These potatoes are too small, take off less skin." He corrected Musa. "And what about the omelet, don't forget to flip them, eh!" He ordered to the other girls, making them each grab one of the pans while I grabbed my designated pan.
"Cooking is an art young ladies." Sfoglia said before being cut off by Musa.
"When I graduate from here, I'll eat out every night." Musa said being ignored by Master Sfoglia.
"Now let's see you flip those omelets." He said looking at how the girls try to flip them.
First off was Flora who looked nervous, but made a correct flip, then was Tecna who looked excited of managing a correct flip, afterwards was Musa who flipped the omelet, but had to catch it because of bad trajectory, then I went with a correct flip with no complications, and finally was Bloom who failed and her omelet landed on the ceiling fan.
"Oh! I'm so sorry! I have no idea how it happened." Bloomed exclaimed looking at her omelet on the spinning fan.
"Well, what are you waiting for? Somebody turn off the fan." Master Sfoglia said in which Flora ran to the switch to turn it off.
"Uh... I'll do it" Flora said nervously flicking the switch.
"Flora, that's the wrong switch!" I yell out too late seeing the fan start spinning faster than before.
"Come down little omelet, don't be afraid trust me, no one's gonna eat you." Musa teased causing Bloom to try and hide her laugh and for Master Sfoglia to become angry.
"I said turn. It. Ooooooooofff-" Master Sfoglia started saying before ending with an opera sound making Flora start flicking the switch managing to turn off the fan and cutting off Master Sfoglia by the omelet landing on his face.
