Taking a bow in front of an amazing crowd marked the end of another successful gig. Becoming a singer was always the career you wanted to do from a young age. From high school talent shows to a YouTuber covering songs from your favourite artists, you gained quite a healthy amount of followers and had a great audience. Booking live gigs at theatres, clubs and other public settings was always quite a success and you always looked forward to performing every night.

As a night owl, it was no surprise that you always worked better at night and even your manager would book two gigs in one night for you.

It was a Friday night and you were double booked, you had just finished your performances at the theatre and were now packing up your equipment to leave and head to the next gig. While putting away your guitar and notebook where you would write all of your own music, you noticed your manager Astrid, who was also your best friend walking towards you while applauding.

"Great show superstar! They loved it. There are a few fans out front wanting your autograph although we gotta be quick because there's another show starting in fifteen minutes and from what I heard It's that crazy-ass comedian dude who is also known as The Ape of God."

"Oh, Henry McHenry, right? I know that's his name but I haven't met the guy. Heard he's quite the character."

You let out a laugh as you zipped up your guitar bag and then stood up, placing your hands on your hips. You were always curious about Henry McHenry despite never meeting him but you heard he was quite provocative and also mysterious. You never went to any of his shows as you didn't have the time due to your own gigs and other stuff that was going on in your life so you didn't really know what his performances were all about.

"Have you ever met the guy Astrid?"

"Nope! But come on Y/N you have to change into your dress for the club and we have to be outta here for McHenry's show starting come on."

You and Astrid swiftly walked over to the restrooms returning quick small talk with each other about how great you were tonight and how this was one of your busiest gigs all week. Astrid handed you a garment cover that contained your dress for tonight at the club and then had to dash off to answer a phone call while you entered the bathroom to change your outfit.

You changed out of your yellow crop top and denim skirt, deciding to keep on your green converse as you didn't even bother bringing a change of shoes, plus you liked wearing your converse and found them comfy.

You changed into a thin-strapped green dress which ended at your mid-thigh. The dress showed off a lot of your cleavage which you didn't mind at all as you looked hot in the dress and couldn't wait to show it off. You quickly fixed the straps and topped up your lip gloss before making sure to pick up the pieces of your old outfit and place them neatly in the garment cover before leaving the bathroom.

Upon leaving the bathroom you must've only walked about two steps before you let out a surprised gasp followed by a tiny curse word as you almost bumped into the chest of a rather tall man who was wearing a green robe with the hood up over his head. His robe was undone and when you looked down you could see he was wearing boxers and was also barefoot.
