Today was a very special day for a certain someone you absolutely love and adore. After counting down the days on the calendar since the start of the month, today was finally the day you could circle around the date, that date being Jude's birthday.

Your wonderful little suburban family home consists of you, your husband Jude, your six-year-old stepson and your nine-month-old daughter who you share with Jude. All day you had been celebrating Jude's birthday. This morning you and your stepson cooked him a birthday breakfast and then all four of you went to the swimming pool for something fun to do which you thought the kids enjoyed more than Jude although he absolutely loved it too.

Birthday cards and presents were also involved, in which you bought him a new Breitling watch, a new fragrance and a leather jacket as you found leather jackets to be very sexy on a guy, your guy in particular.

As the evening began, you all had dinner together and then afterwards Jude received his birthday cake although it seemed like Baby Melody got rather excited and wanted to blow out the candles and eat some of the cake. You captured some memories on your phone by taking pictures of Jude and the kids, even sneaking in a few pictures of yourself and your wonderful husband.

After dinner and cake, Jude and the kids retreated into the living room while you were about to begin washing the dishes and do a little bit of tidying up. However, after five minutes Jude came back into the kitchen and told you that the tidying up can wait and successfully persuaded you into relaxing on the couch with him.

The rest of the night just felt right. You and Jude were laying on the couch together with a shared blanket while Noah and Melody played together on the floor. There was a Disney movie playing on the TV which Noah wanted to watch and to be honest all four of you were watching, although the kitchen kept calling out to Melody as she would sometimes crawl over towards the room as she knew the food was kept in there.

Once the time hit eight o'clock it was definitely bedtime for the kids, despite it being a Saturday. Melody was getting a little bit cranky meaning she was tired and really wanted your attention so you picked her up while Jude would deal with getting Noah ready for bed, so all of you went upstairs together.

After a diaper change and a few moments of nursing, Melody was finally asleep in her bed and she also seemed to be the first to settle down and fall asleep. After putting on her baby monitor and making sure her little light was on you went downstairs while Jude was still dealing with Noah's bedtime routine.

Once you got downstairs you switched on the other baby monitor and then tackled the dishes that were in the kitchen while swaying your hips to the music you put on for some background noise, making sure it was on a low volume so the kids wouldn't be disturbed.

You were so busy dancing along to the music and eating some leftover cake that you didn't even hear Jude coming into the kitchen until you felt him wrapping his arms around your waist from behind, followed by a kiss on the cheek making you almost choke on the cake.

''Hi, beautiful.''

''Hey, you. Fuck, sorry this cake is so damn good.''

''Eat as much as you want baby.''
