Chapter 1: Super human registration act

He looked at me as if I just suggested we go fight the hulk. "ARE YOU CRAZY?!?!" Said foggy. "Going up against the government about a bill that will help people will only hurt our reps Matt. Plus how do YOU intend on even getting a single justice to see your way?" Foggy is my best friend and partner in law. He's a big help and has won a few cases on his own. But this time he's wrong. This bill will only tear people apart. "Your wrong, foggy" I said, adjusting my glasses "if this law comes to pass, there will be a huge war between the superheroes. Since the MRA, tensions between superheroes and the populace are at an all time high. After the Stamford explosion and Philadelphia bombing, there's nothing stopping the government from banning super people entirely. They've got all the reason to stop them." Foggy looked at me quizzically "Then why stop it? It's gonna save hundreds of lives and-" I stopped him "and ruin hundreds more. You'll see." Foggy sighed. He looked out the window at the gym across the street and looked as if he was having his own war in his head. "Would your dad approve? Would he think the same?" Wow that caught me off guard. After all that happened, I knew I was the only one who did anything about his murder. The world needs heroes, and our masks are our only protection from the demons in everyone we fight. "Yes. Yes he would" I answered with pride. "Well then" said foggy with a sense of uncertainty "lets go stop congress". And with that, I officially entered the "civil war" as a diplomat, but I would leave as a warrior.

I didn't need sight to see how wrong this law is. Long story short, you sign up for the government, become an employee for them. That may not seem bad, till you realize something: you loose the mask. Anybody can find out who you are and hurt your loved ones. If you don't comply, they sick enhanced soldiers called "cape-killers" on you. People like Mr Fantastic, Iron man, Ms Marvel....they've got nothing to lose. Their names and exploits are out there, they've gone public. People like us -Luke cage, Blade, Moon Knight- we've got family and friends. Heck a few months ago, a kid with super powers told his mom and family. They were fine with it and supported the guy. Until they found out he hit one of the purple mans areas. That's when they came: fixers. One of the family members tweeted it out, that their son was was a "super hero"....and the fixers were on them like that. I stopped the fixers, but not in time. The family was killed. Poor kid. He couldn't bare it. He had laser fists. He put one up to his head and said "avenge them". I will. I will make sure that no matter what, this bill won't come to pass. I don't fear the possible ramifications or the cape killers. Justice will be dealt.
